The new seating arrangement is a big step down. Very institutional/dormitory style. Total decline in ambience and style from before. We used to love Uleys on our last day of skiing. Not so sure anymore.

Fireplace was not on and the sofa has been taken away so there are only two chairs in front of it. The place was only half full and no one is allowed in without reservations. Our seating was 1 o'clock, but they were already out of several items on the menu, and the menu is very limited to start with. The food we had was not special. The wine pour was nice. We look forward to eating at Uleys during the winter, and have it be a special place. It just doesn't have that specialness anymore it seems a bit sad and rundown.

My family has been coming to Crested Butte since the early 1990s. I have fond memories of the twister warming hut, even in its disrepair. The lunches were simple but still nice. The wine menu was excellent (my parents love their wine) and it wasn't ridiculously overpriced. Oh and we loved the fondue dinners and torch light ski down. Why can't we bring back the good old days? Simple and full of the best memories. Unfortunately, our lunch was subpar. Our waiter was lovely, and the charcutier was nice, but the rest of the food was nearly inedible. The vegan dish was bland, and the trout should never have been served. We were all disappointed that on valentines day, the two main dishes with pheasant were not available. Again, please bring back the simple good old days.

Great mountain views and great food. We stopped by for lunch while skiing and shared a charcuterie board and the wild game stroganoff. Both were excellent as was the mulled wine. Will definitely go back soon.

Uley's Cabin is such a unique dining experience tucked away in the mountains. The food was superb and the service was great. Definitely would recommend and we will be back next time we're in Crested Butte!

What an incredible experience. We loved the ability to ski and ski out. The people were all really nice and the food was great. A hidden gem. We recommend definitely a bucket list item you should do. Compare to experiences at some of the other restaurants, we found the prices reasonable.

A quaint place to have a good, sit-down meal on the mountain Service was friendly and attentive. Found it odd that no prices were provided for any beverage except bottles of wine - cost for bottles not an unreasonable mark-up. After cocktails (Teocalli coffee- very tasty), wanted to start with kale salad but it came out with the entrees. Good flavor and large enough to share. Had the stroganoff and bison steak - both excellent.

After seeing an online promotion from the Crested Butte Facebook account, we made a reservation for brunch at Uley's for my husband's birthday. On arrival, we were given a full menu with what felt more like full priced dinner entrees (though Uley's is not open for dinner). When we asked, the waiter initially told us that they didn't serve brunch and only when I mentioned the promotion I had responded to did he check with the kitchen staff. He returned to say that there was one brunch option, which consisted of pancakes and one adult beverage per person. We were surprised that there was only one option, as brunch usually includes a few choices, but we went with this option anyway, as we had planned on brunch. What is most astonishing was that this incredibly basic meal of pancakes (admittedly, nicely presented on a faux wooden platter), a small dish of very bland scrambled eggs, and a beverage was priced at $84 plus gratuity. While the pancakes were nicely prepared, there is no pancake that is worth $84! Also, this was still the least expensive item on the menu. I am not opposed to paying for a wonderful meal. But $84 for pancakes is really just absurd. We will not return to this location for anything other than a quick snack or beverage break while skiing, because the location is still beautiful.

So disappointing, I took my family of five and nobody enjoyed their meal. Bison was dry, Frites were not house made, and the chimmichuri was bland. Mushroom soup was separated and greasy. Poutine was soggy. Stroganoff was about 6 bites. I could go on and on. My bill was over $600 and still had to go out for an early dinner because my family was still hungry. Only reason I gave them one star was because the service was descent. Avoid this place and save your money. Total rip-off.

Had the bison frites with chimichurri. In past years, this was one of the best dishes in the valley. Yesterday, the bison was dry and the chimichurri didn't exist. Asked others with me about their pheasant and stroganoff dishes and the answers came back "Okay." Hopeful that the kitchen was just having an off day.

The service was great(Nic), however the food needed improvement, the vension was rare on one side and my trout, was overdone. The potinie(sp) was excellent and the sorbet was excellent.

We had an amazing lunch at Uley's. Allison, the new chef, has created a menu that is true to Uley's reputation. We had the elk stroganoff which warmed our bellies. And her special of Pheasant gnocchi was delightful! We highly recommend for a unique, magical experience on the mountain.

Very disappointed. Seven of us went yesterday (Saturday afternoon) for my birthday. There is NO Ramen as of 1/6/24 which we had been looking forward to. The menu entreés are all in the upper $20/$30 range. My elk pappardelle was good, a little heavy on the pepper but a small portion for $35. There are no prices on the wine menu so one of us ordered a glass of house cabernet that was $24 and not that great. When we asked for separate checks since 5 of us were paying, they said they couldn't do separate checks and would only divide the bill for 3 cards each evenly. The waitress said, "I can't do more than that because it's too much work for me." That is an interesting comment for a bill that was $400 before the tip. There were lots of empty tables at 12:30pm, now we know why. If you don't mind overpaying to have a linen cloth napkin lunch on the mountain, you will be ok.

The food and service were both very good. The portion size was insulting. The ambiance was really nice. The extremely high cost would have been justified if the portions had been adequate. No one in our party left full.
