My first time eating here was 5 years ago. However, this place (The Source) has developed quite a bit since then. Acorn has consistently been delivering excellent food and diversifying their menu items. Great date spot or a place to bring your parents when they come to town!
Acorn is a farm to table, New American restaurant making good use of its wood-fired oven. The chef is brilliantly innovative—delivering soul-comforting standards in thrilling new iterations. Served for sharing, both small plate and large plate options come from a tightly edited menu covering all the bases and providing something for every taste.
We had an incredible meal and experience at Acorn. We had the Broccolini, Summer Salad, Raviolis and the Whole Roasted Chicken - it was all amazing. Highly recommend!
Roasted chicken was amazing, pork rinds were pretty good, martini was okay.
The service was fantastic and everyone from the manager (maybe owner?) to the server was constantly checking on us to make sure our dinner was going well but not to the point of annoying. I loved every thing we order and the mix of flavors in every dish. Love the pork rinds and the fondue they paired it with. My duck confit with the sweet, the bitter/salty of the arugula was brilliant. Loved the atmosphere and all the fresh air coming in from the open bay doors. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Glad you are open again for dine in. Well done.
Our dining experience at Acorn was a high point of or stay in Denver. The atmosphere of Acorn in the old steel foundry is captivating. Our table was located upstairs next to the kitchen balcony giving us a birdseye view into the kitchen where the wood fired grill was in high demand. It was such fun to watch the kitchen staff move with precision and timing as they prepared the wonderful meals. Our server was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. She helped us decide on the perfect coices for our group of four and nailed it.
great service and great workers. food was really good and it was also a good price. heard about this place before and i was not disappointed at all.
For Denver Restaurant Week we tried Acorn.
I Spent a few weeks at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Denver experiencing all of the great dining experiences and adventures that the city had to offer. I had heard about this restaurant but was a little hesitant to visit due to the mass amounts of other restaurants to visit. When I finally did give this place a shot, I was not disappointed at all coming here and I was very surprised at just how well everything in the restaurant runs. As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel this atmosphere of class and chill vibes which is very relaxing, as well as just how clean and organized they keep the whole restaurant. All of the music playing around the restaurant was nice and at the perfect sound. There is an extremely large menu to choose from with lots of different options for different preferences in people’s taste. Overall the food is beyond spectacular and I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you live within the Denver area or just wish to dine some exquisite food! I have already recommended this restaurant to multiple amounts of my friends and family and the ones that have tried it have told me that they have had similar experiences to mine and just truly how amazing the service and food at this place is! The staff at this restaurant are also extremely friendly and will accommodate you with any needs you may have! This is some of the better food in Denver Colorado, and I would put it up there with other high class delicious restaurants within the area. As I said if you have not visited this place yet you are severely missing out and need to come on by and experience the greatness within this restaurant!
We hadn't been here in years, but it seems quality and above all service is still at a high level.
