Amazingly fresh salmon and great selection of frozen fish. We couldn’t leave without also getting some grouper too! I didn’t catch his name, I’m assuming he was the owner, but he was kind and picked us out the 3 best grouper filets to go along with the beautiful salmon filets we came for.

I have been buying salmon from Duffy at Alaskan Salmon Co for 26 years now. The quality has never varied and the fish is always delicious. It would be very hard to get a fresher piece of salmon in Denver. In the last few years I have also been buying frozen shrimp from him and they are also great. Stu

I ordered $ 550 plus in seafood on June 10 12 pack of Halibut and 24 copper River Salmon. I was immediately charged on my credit card,(not when shipped) and it was supposed to be next day ship. I never heard or received an email on the status of my order. I called after 10 days and was told they had sent emails, but for some reason, they did not have mine and stated they were waiting on the halibut. I was told it should ship now that they had it, and my order should come within next week. On June 27th (still no confirmation of shipment) I called again, and this time the same story, but it was the salmon they were waiting on. Again they said they sent emails, but did not have mine. I explained that indeed you had my email as I gave it to them the last time I called. I was told they were catching up on orders and did not have a date for shipping of my order. I cancelled my order. Not the way to run a business. Suggest Tanner Seafood or another. This company is simply not reliable and clueless on customer service. I hope I do not have to wait 21 days to get my money back. If I could give a "0" I would.

I got tired of buying the tiny 4oz packages of smoked salmon at the grocery store so I started checking around local Denver area if there was a local seafood shop.I found Alaskan here but was a little skeptical because the most recent reviews were kinda old, website out of date, and I worried about the pandemic maybe they closed.Well it didn't hurt to do a drive by and sure enough saw an Open sign. They're inside the Town and Country market. The folks were friendly and they had what I was looking for: pre-vacuum sealed frozen smoked salmon. I walked out with several packages and they were very reasonably priced.Thawed one in the fridge overnight and popped the rest in the freezer. I opened the thawed package this morning and was absolutely delighted. Better than the stuff in the store. Great flavor. I've had a LOT of smoked salmon over the years and this is definitely up there in quality.I'll definitely be going back and I'm looking forward to trying more of the seafood offerings they have. The other reviews I read here were helpful.
Wow! I have been on the hunt for quality fish here in landlocked Colorado. The prices and taste beat everything I’ve tried—from other fish markets to Whole Foods. Happy to have found this gem after 15 years of living in the city.

What a great establishment, glad I can get some incredible fish from Duffy and team here. Highly recommend for quality seafood and fish, this gets the See Deep approval being used to fresh fish from the deep sea growing up. Great service and keeping things healthy during this time. Extensive selection of fish to take away.

It's not a fancy-looking place but don't let that fool you - this is an amazing seafood store! We always get our salmon here, it's always fresh and not expensive. I especially appreciate that when I make salmon soup they will throw in some salmon heads and bones for next to nothing or free. They have a great assortment of frozen seafood, haven't tried it all but the large shrimp are amazing. They also make their own smoked salmon, it's really good. The service is friendly and personal and they are also very good at adapting to the pandemic - you can order online and get curbside delivery if you wish and they are good about wearing masks. This is truly a neighborhood gem!

My husband and I stumbled upon this spot a couple weeks ago while looking for some veggies to plant. We picked up a huge salmon fillet for $10/lb. I brined it (50/50 salt and brown sugar), smoked it, and it ended up being the best salmon we’ve ever had. Not fishy tasting in the least which is great bc we recently got one from Sam’s that was pretty fishy. This will be our only stop for salmon from now on. So glad to support this small business!
