Why is my favorite coffee spot in our neighborhood closed?!? This was the only spot to get an iced matcha. And the death cream was sooo good.

What happened Allegro? This was the best coffee shop in our neighborhood. Picking up my coffee here made my day everyday. Cody, Claudia, Kendra, Jose, and the rest of the team were amazing! You are missed ! So friendly and hardworking. I'm very sorry to see the shop closed overnight.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Denver. I typically get beans here and the coffee is great. I always get a double death cream espresso drink which I love. Highly recommend.

Delicious coffee, plenty of snack options and places to sit.

Good service and a nice atmosphere. The lavender oat milk late is really good hot or cold. I also like that they let you bring your own cup and they have a rewards program. Unfortunately, their food options are limited and the only vegan option are Bobo's oat bars. They also sell a wide variety of house brand of coffees.

Came here for a coffee fix since our Airbnb was nearby. Cool vibes in a hip, industrial space. Lots of folks working from here, but had no issues getting a seat. I ordered the nitro cold brew and it was enjoyable, though it seemed to take a while to pour.

You can't really ask more from a coffeeshop. The pastries are good and are discounted after some time in the afternoon (I forget when exactly) and the coffee isn't bad at all. They have some good caffeine on tap and everything is made with care, which is shocking considering this place is owned by Amazon.

My new favorite coffee shop on Tennyson! Currently obsessed with their Chai Latte with Oatmilk. It's not too sweet and you can tell there's no added sweeteners in it - so that's good! My daughter loves the hot chocolate and they make it just the right temperature for kids, which I love! Food is good! The almond pastry is fresh and fluffy - highly recommend trying! It does get a bit messy though. The place is very clean, bright and spacious! It's busy but I still somehow find a table to sit at! They also have a lot of single seaters, so if you need to work by yourself that's nice! Service is super friendly! One thing that I don't like is they call out orders by the drink. Which makes it confusing for people who ordered the same thing. Overall, great place to visit! I want to try more drinks but again, currently obsessed with their Chai Lattes haha

Dropped by while waiting for our brunch table elsewhere this morning. One of the coolest cafes I've seen yet. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Great space, great vibes, great service especially for a busy Sunday morning. This is a place I'd likely spend time regularly if I were local. Thanks for my Americano. Keep up the great work ?

Allegro embodies the exact aesthetic of my favorite coffeeshops: Colorful, plant-filled, and exposed high ceilings. Oh, and with free WiFi. I came here to do a little work (and go on a date) but I thought the music was a little loud to be productive. Love the abundance of electrical outlets that enable camping out and enjoying both food and drink while working. The baristas were great. They whipped up my latte in a to-go cup, though I like reusable mugs when dining in. The 2-hour parking around this neighborhood can be a bit of a pain. Not too bad if you're with someone else that can watch your belongings while you repark when necessary. Tables are also small but not a big deal if you JUST have your laptop and a cup of coffee.

This place before the pandemic was great. Very consistent and I always thought it was cool the staff stayed for a long time and made me think this was a good place to work and support. Ive been going to this place for five years and so I have seen it change a lot. I went in today to give it another chance after avoiding this place for months and I wont be back. The menu was written in chicken scratch chalk marker and is barely legible from the register. Is it seriously cost prohibitive to get a menu printed? They used to have great food but closed the kitchen. The coffee was fine but i didn’t finish it. Ive noticed all the regular staff left which makes me wonder what is going on with management. The counters are cluttered with creams and sugars. The tables are usually covered in crumbs. One time I was there and the rags to wipe the tables was sitting on the floor. What was once a high end modern minimalist coffee shop that valued community has been lost completely. I know Whole Foods owned Allegro and so Amazon must now own Allegro. Such a bummer its not better.

I have been here only a couple times and I still don’t understand the buzz.Every time I’ve come the coffee is always subpar, the staff and patrons are completely stuck up and rude, and the prices are pretty stiff for a basic cup of coffee.I’ve gotten an iced oat milk latte and a caramel latte and it never tastes too great.I would honestly risk it at Starbucks than ever go back here. And I truly despise corporate Starbucks.

My server at Denver Biscuit Co rec'd this to me and it was a 4-min walk just past Cesar Chavez park. Nice sized location with lots of folks at tables on their laptops. Huge variety of tea - and nitro tea and nitro coffee. Variety of syrups as well - which means I was able to get a lavender latte! The latte was great, honestly. And good prices for a place in this kind of location as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by Allegro. They used high quality oat milk and I enjoyed the espresso in my iced latte. The aesthetic of the shop is very modern and welcoming, not cheugy at all -- great spot to grave a coffee for a walk on the weekend around the neighborhood or even work out of or meet up with friends!
