Appaloosa Grill is a standout in a typical food desert area around convention centers. It offers great service, a cool vibe, and very good food, along with a great beer list. The manager and bartender are kind and attentive, making for a delightful experience. The vibe is casual, with live music starting at 9 pm. While some dishes may be hit or miss, the filet is a highlight. Be prepared for higher prices, and parking can be a challenge.
