The food is pretty good.
However, the interior was very dirty (we were among the first customers, so it was left like that from the previous day).
They also charge 20% mandatory tips, which is a robbery (I always leave at least 20 for good service, but a tip is a tip and not an expectation).

I had the loveliest lunch with my Aunt here recently. Exceptional service, food (I literally dream about the pita), and whatever the pear cocktail was with the cardamom and aquafaba was so delicious we decided to attempt to replicate it and serve it at Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Our attempts capture the spirit but lack the subtlety and sophistication. Oh well!

Word to the wise, lunch and happy hour prices are a little more affordably priced if you’re wanting to try their wonderful food but need to be budget conscious!

I have a dairy allergy and there were plenty of options, although I did wish there was a vegan feta and non-dairy dessert option, would have been a really nice add. Still delicious and will definitely be back soon!

The carrot kibeh nayeh was unique and terrific. The sauce for the falafel plate was incredible. And best hummus at a restaurant I've had in years

We came in so excited after reading the reviews, but we were frankly disappointed. We showed up and waited 10-15 minutes before anyone notices we’re there at the front, the service was rushed and without heart. I didn’t feel welcome, I felt like I was just there to grab a quick bite. It was so loud, I could barely hear the people sitting right next to me. The food was pretty good, but the difference in quantity between plates was shocking… the steak was beautiful but small, the cauliflower was a huge portion, and you had to ask for more pita rather than it be offered proactively. Overall, I was not impressed and won’t be returning when friends visit unless they fix whatever is going on.

Our waiter, Zeke, was amazing! He truly saved the whole event. The rest of the staff was disorganized and frankly, rude. I think that's why, despite having really wonderful food, they only have 4 stars on yelp. They also cut my birthday cake before I was able to blow candles out or see the actual whole cake which was very disappointing and then charged us a cake cutting fee when we never asked for the cake to be cut by them. Apparently my best friend had a cute message written across it and special candles for a photo op and that was completely taken away from us by the staff.

This used to be one of my very favorite places, but in the last couple of years, it's become so outrageously expensive, it's just not enjoyable. I ordered the Greek salad and asked to add some protein. I got one small little lamb patty that was cooked TO DEATH! Literally hard as a rock. Other than that, the food was good, just not on par with the pricing. I don't mind paying $100+ each for a good meal, but this just wasn't worth it. There is plenty of Mediterranean food around Denver that is equally good and reasonably priced. On the bright side, the pita bread is divine and the service was very friendly.

Everything about our visit was amazing. The food was really delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the menu to us, which made choosing so much easier. We were celebrating our anniversary, and I had mentioned it in the booking. Without us saying a word, the team noticed and congratulated us, making the whole evening feel extra special. It was such a thoughtful touch and truly meant a lot. Highly recommend this place for great food, warm service, and a genuinely memorable dining experience!

I was a bit disappointed. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it's Michelin level... The service was pretty terrible. We waited for 15 minutes without being welcomed, and we kinda felt rushed out... I was excited, but I won't be coming back.

Smells wonderful when you walk in. Service is very good to excellent. Overall, disappointed with the food. Did not knock my socks off. but beautifully presented.

Our first time. My son is a vegetarian, so this was perfect with many options for him. We started with hummus topped with mushrooms. Absolutely delicious; as was the gnocchi and the cabbage. We finished it off with a gooey baklava that was as a delicious way to top off an amazing dinner.

Had a most excellent experience over all, and the food was superb. We did not realize that we made our reservation for 30 mins before the kitchen opened for dinner, so the service seemed a bit inconsistent until we realized this is was the case.

The experience at Ash’Kara was very disappointing. The food was not good at all compared to the price, and the service made everything worse. Our server, Alex, was careless, unfriendly, and looked completely unprofessional. It truly felt like he did not care about providing any level of service.

Ash’Kara automatically adds a 20 percent tip, and this is a real problem because the tip is guaranteed no matter what. Our server put zero effort into treating us well.

On top of that, the music was so loud that we could not hear each other talk. Between the mediocre food, the poor service, and the uncomfortable atmosphere, this visit was not worth it. Management needs to address these issues.

Not a fan of the 20% included gratuity when service was subpar. We waited 45 min for steak and a salad that they clearly forgot to put the order in

Nothing terrible, nothing memorable… just aggressively average and mysteriously expensive.

The “chicken entrée,” priced at a majestic $38 (before tax and the inevitable 20% service charge), arrived looking like someone had intercepted a rotisserie chicken on its way to a better restaurant and negotiated away three-quarters of it. What remained was a humble quarter-portion, half of which was bone, all of which was confusion. A bold artistic choice, if the theme of the evening was “Minimalism, But Make It Sad”.

It takes real talent to serve a meal so forgettable that the only thing I can recall is the bill. A bold move. Won’t be returning.
