Señor Bear is an awesome spot with great food and a great happy hour every day from 3 to 6pm, including weekends. The happy hour has much more reasonable prices and features tasty food and the full bar. The food is fab and wonderful, with dishes like the braised lamb, pork chop, and coconut rice side noted for their tastes, flavor, heat, spice, and overall combination. Other items include the rice nigiri, which is pretty solid and good, and the papaya, a good blend of sweet with a slight hint of spice. The drinks are delicious, with bartenders willing to mix up any concoction, such as a spicy coconut or spicy cucumber margarita, even if not on the menu. The Mini Negroni is exactly what to expect for those who like mezcal and Negroni.

The service is great, good, and phenomenal. The ambiance is nice, making it a nice date spot or special occasion place. However, some find the general price point high and feel the food, while good, may not be worth it outside of happy hour. A significant point is the automatic 20% service fee added to every bill, which is for equitable pay for the entire staff and is disclosed.
