The staff was super attentive and kind. The drinks were good. It is very packed in there especially the later it gets and it is noisy. I would not go without a reservation. You are unable to sit at the tables without one and the bar seating is limited.

I have been to Ay Papi twice now and can't wait to go back. These was a plethora of rum drink options included a rum old fashioned and pinacolada. The pinacolada was small but packed a punch! It was thick and hit fast, made me want to be on a beach! The appetizer of cheese with a papaya sauce served with plantains was unique and delicious. Highly recommend asking the staff for recommendations of you don't see anything on the menu that interests you. They will make any standard drinks as well.

Cocktails and food were fine, service was nice but the music was so loud it was painful. We could not hear each other at the table, both left with headaches and I feared staying for a 2nd cocktail would risk hearing damage. Not sure why they are promoting a club like atmosphere at 5:30 in the evening but it was stressful and I will not be back. Sad because it's a cute atmosphere and great location.

Sat at the bar for 20 minutes and no one took our order. Two bartenders were working the same station so nearly 10 people were ignored on the opposite side. It was so bad that a waitress came and made her own drinks and finally took our order. If we didn’t have to pay the service charge we would have never had tipped it was that bad. Some serious staff training needs to happen if you leave half your bar unattended and two people have to cover the other at 5 p.m.

This has become our "go to place" for tapas y bebidas, an environ that is luxurious, floral, tropical and so very Cubano. The drinks are reminiscent of a more elegant time and the tapas throw us back to that wonderful Caribe environment. And to top it off, the service is exemplary Caribbean, i.e., friendly and efficient without being harassing. Can't say enough about it. Buen provecho y disfrute este ambiente.

Very nice place to hang with friends! But they over charge you drinks in your bill ,(which drinks are little to priced) we told our service guy and he said nothing that he can do because all drinks was delivered!! Last night we decided never go back again
My husband and I took our friend here for a bday/Sunday funday and had an absolutely blast. The atmosphere was so much fun and inviting while our service was amazing. We sat at the bar and did a mojito "flight" and every drink was delicious! Definitely will be coming back and recommending
It was totally average. I had very high hopes. The decor is beautiful and the music was great. Service was noticeably slow and the staff appeared to be annoyed. Not a single smile. Drinks were average and the food wasn't special either. I hate to write a bad review. I hope they find a way to improve.

Ambiance was nice and the food was okay. I feel like would have stayed longer if the service was better. It took a very long time to get any drink or food. There were several servers there and they did not seem short staffed.

Oh what a fun spot for a girl's night! The vibe was great. Colorful lights, beautifully decorated space, delicious cocktails. I got a fruity daiquiri and it wasn't out of a premixed spinning beverage dispenser- it was whipped up in the kitchen and so yummy. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were lovely. Food was good too.

Like some other reviews said, cocktails are so light. We order palomas and they are like soda, you cant even taste the alcohol. Too expensive to be that light. We have some beer too, the glass was half foam and half beer. Other than that, really cool place.
