I used to love this place. Hadn’t visited for a few years and found things to be quite different. Upon entering, we noticed a very unpleasant odor, like dirty dishwater maybe? The bartender was a doll but the poor guy had to handle all patrons/tables himself. There was a hostess there but she didn’t much lighten his load as it appeared her only job was to escort patrons into the bar. The food selection was meager and waay pricey. The final blow was that the bathroom was filthy. Not the BGC I remember and not what you’d think would be affiliated with the “upscale” Halcyon hotel in Cherry Creek.

This was a disappointing experience to say the least. The hostess deliberately separated our group. Yes we had separate reservations, she said she was going to seat our friends across from us, but when our friends came she looked at us and then sat them on the other side of the bar, all while there were seats open right in front of us. She also went out of her way to tell our friends to make sure to go back to their seats. We asked her if our friends could squeeze in the booth with us, there being plenty of space. We were told no. We then asked our waitress if our friends could sit with us otherwise we would just get the one drink. She begrudgingly accommodated us but her friendly demeanor changed, she was short with us for a while. Then she was friendly again in the end. We brought my mother in law and our friends there for he first time, because we had, had a lovely experience before. This was just so embarrassing to bring our friends and family there, for us to be treated so rudely. For NO reason.

Great dark and hidden bar. Cocktails were great, hubby had sazerac and I had the latte old fashion. Atmosphere is moody and sexy. Highly recommend for a late night drink!

Wish I could say. We couldn't get in at all. You must make a reservation. For those traveling form out of state and get recommended these locations from locals and you can't even get in after driving almost 40 minutes. Frustrating experience to say the least. Ioffered to stand up. No luck.

This place is a victim of its own success. Once my favorite lounge in Denver is now a shell of its former self. The drinks have gotten terrible and the unkempt crowd brings the authenticity and class down. While that likely sounds pretentious, there is a dress code at upscale establishments for employees and patrons alike because it creates an elegant atmosphere and enhances the experience. I like a dive bar when I go to a dive bar and a lounge when I go to a lounge. I was greatly saddened by the fall of B&GC. Luckily I found room for Milly and spend my time there.

One of the main reasons I go to this place is because of the amazing drinks and service. Ryan has been one of the most attentive servers we have had. I would highly recommend coming here but be sure to request Ryan as your server.
Very nice intimate space with amazing craft cocktails. If you don’t want one of the craft cocktails, tell the bartender what alcohol you prefer and what flavor profile you like and they will create something amazing!

Nina and Brandon were absolutely amazing! Since we enter the door Nina was so nice and charming, as well as beautiful!! Brandon provided excellent service, he surprised us by speaking Spanish to us, very good drinks, service and atmosphere, I highly recommend checking it out and give it a try!
