The other location in lohi makes you feel akward or like you're not good enough to eat there if you don't have a reservation. We tried this location out last night and there was a sweet lady greeting us at the door. She let us choose our outside table and then the service and the food was amazing!! It was such a great experience I feel like it's so hard to get good service these days and We were constantly checked on and everything was fabulous! 10/10 will be back

The food is amazing. Hands down the best sushi in Denver. The service.....terrible. If you make reservations they will take and put you near the other other party in the entire restaurant and if you ask for a different table...they are all taken by reservations...but 3 hours into the night they are still empty. They will never come back to fill up water, you have to search for them, or your best option is order two drinks.
We come here once a week so this wasn't a one time thing. It's everytime we go...but again, best sushi in Denver so you deal with the horrible service.

Cannot speak highly enough of this place. It is the best sushi we’ve had and we’ve lived by the ocean. The staff is amazing the food is even better. We have brought so many people here and everyone agrees that their food is AMAZING. Don’t sleep on this place.
Also, everything but the beer and burger are gluten free.
Also, Kat is the best and if you get her for a sever take ALL of her recommendations!

Me and my group of 6 were treated pleasantly at the door and promptly given great seats at the sushi bar. It was an amazing experience being able to watch them make our food and also Zander made it so much better by talking to us about the origin of some of the exotic foods and making us our food! Huge kudos to Zander for giving such a memorable experience and being so knowledgeable about the food! Overall it was an amazing experience from atmosphere, food and service! 10/10 would recommend!

This review for the lohi location!! Always best gf sushi we experience in Denver! Love the interior and fast service. Can't have GF tempura for sushi in Texas and we know Denver's Bamboo always delivers - even when my husband doesn't need to be gluten free he loves it too!
For new congress location: get the chef and staff from lohi to this new spot. Sushi is different.'attitude is different. Awfully rude when they messed up my allergy specific order. Sloppy presentation. It's like an entirely different restaurant. 1/5 stars for congress park location.

We sat at the bar and had a lovely meal. We watched our sushi being made and it was delicious! My spicy scallop hand roll was perfect. We will definitely come back.

Stefanie is absolutely wonderful and so attentive! It only took one visit for her to not only remember me as a guest, but my go-to order. That is such a special experience to walk into a place and be remembered. She is simply phenomenal and so kind! This location is a great local spot and provides both great service and a wonderful option for a night out. Additionally, I love the sustainability of their menu and food sourcing. Above all, I love the staff at this Bamboo Sushi location! Thank you, Stefanie, and all the staff for making my experience great every time!

This is honestly a mid experience — i think there’s much better places to eat sushi in Denver. First, the food came out in nonsensical fashion, not to mention much later than tables who had been seated well after ours. Our signature rolls came out first, followed by seaweed salad and classic rolls about 25 minutes later. The sizes of the rolls felt inconsistent to one another as well.
Lastly, we were seated outside on the patio. This is the first outdoor dining experience I’ve had where we had ants crawling on the tables, food, up our legs. I know that’s not necessarily in their control, but maybe some sort of non-pesticide treatment could be beneficial.
Had high hopes for this place. The shishito peppers were lacking depth of flavor. The crispy tuna was probably the best thing we got. We ordered another roll with tempura shrimp that was mushy on the inside. When we got our steak and it came out cold like it had been sitting back there for a while. We got the panna cotta for dessert and it was an awfully hard consistency. The berries that garnished it were frozen solid. Couldn’t even eat it.

We love it here! Really friendly neighborhood sushi spot. The food is amazing, especially the sashimi plates. The staff are so lovely (especially Kat) and they always remember us when we come back in. It’s relaxed, cozy, and friendly and the food is excellent.

100% gluten free. Their food was amazing. Dessert was really good. Haven’t had anything like it. The service was good but a little random. The location we went to just recently opened and they were still working out kinks. Over all good experience. We sat outside on a really nice day too.
