They served us raw chicken and when we called them over... they “what do you want us to do about it”... the chicken was pink all the way through. They did take it off the bill but they were so rude about it.

My husband and I came for date night. We'd heard about Bar Dough for years, but had never tried it. It turns out it's totally worth the hype. Do not sleep on the carpaccio!

Great bartenders, wonderful drinks and really, really great pizza! I would definitely have dinner there again when we are in Denver:)

Overall the space was super nice. I loved the vibes and decorations. I felt like the tables were nicely separated and there was good energy but no one was on top of each other. Server was really nice. She was friendly and quick to bring us coffee and get an appetizer in for us. I didn't love the food but my friends seemed to enjoy theirs better. I would come back and try dinner here in the future.

Food was superb. I felt like I was eating in Italy. Only complaint was it was very loud inside restaurant.

Great vibes and even better food! Loved the meatballs, beef carpaccio, Paccheri, and pizza..everything was spot-on. Cocktails were excellent too. Perfect Highlands spot for Italian.

My friend and I had dined at Bar Dough years ago and loved it immensely, so we were excited to dine there again. Our reservation was for a hightop table at 5:15 so we could have time for Happy Hour which went until 6. I was seated at a low table, fine, and perused the cocktail menu before my friend arrived. When the waiter arrived I asked about the Happy Hour menu and drink specials, and he explained that only applied to sitting at the bar- so I would have to then move and be reseated later to have the Happy Hour menu and pricing. Bummer. So I ordered a standard $14 margarita (which was delivered disappointingly unsalted by a server). My companion did love her $14 Lemon Drop Spritz. We shared the Frito Misto Calamari appetizer, $19, recommended by our waiter, which was highly over-salted and over fried. The $35 Pollo Piccata was also way too salty and the chicken unexpectedly deep fried to a dry and almost burnt crisp. I've never had chicken pounded so thin, coated with heavy crust, and then deep-fried to a dark brown cardboard like characteristic. It was memorably awful. The pasta that accompanied it was also dry and neither lemony or flavorful. We are both truly baffled and disappointed by how downhill the quality and treatment of the experience was. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Family friendly environment and menu! Garlic bread and pasta dishes were very delicious. If the Grilled Peaches and peppers are in season, definitely order that as an app.

Chose the Nonna's Table ($45): - Started with a Caprese Salad that was great, tomatoes, basil and mozzarella looked fresh. ✅ - Requested an old style diavolo pizza, with red sauce, that was accommodated by the kitchen with an extra charge. ✅ - For dessert, I picked the Tiramisu as I assumed it would be a no brainer for an Italian place. ❌ Here are some points for improvement: * Tiramisu was brought while I was still eating half of my pizza. I like to eat the Tiramisu with a doppio, and I was still finishing my beer. * When I finished the pizza and tried the Tiramisu, it didn't taste like a regular Tiramisu. * I was informed they no longer serve the regular Tiramisu, and now they serve a Raspberry Tiramisu version that nowhere is informed in the menu, neither online or paper. * I had to move ahead with a different dessert, Budino, which was good but not what I initially liked. Service was great, even with a full house, so the 20% standard fee is well deserved ✅ The great dough and flavorful pizza is still an outstanding choice for going there, but I will not choose the Nonna's Table anymore.

Kat was an awesome server! The veggie quiche was lacking some flavor and the mushroom/onions/fontina cheese was a weird combo. The bacon app was delicious but a bit overcooked. Loved the cacio e pepe. The drinks were worth the price as well.

Bar Dough indeed exceeded our expectations! This was our first visit so we did not have anything to go on other than other past reviews. The vibe of the place was quiet cool with a casual ambiance with a throw-back elegance. The service and knowledge from Eric our server was on-point and we felt welcome and our satisfaction with the experience important to him. The cocktails from the bar were a level up from what the average barkeep could make. The food spoke to us of garden fresh ingredients, skillfully combined and carefully prepared. Presentation was simple as the flavors did the talking. Our party of 3 were all very pleased with our selections and we have vowed to put Bar Dough on our regular rotation of dining out spots.
