Went here to see a concert, and decided to have dinner before the show. It's convenient to be able to eat dinner and see a show at the same venue. My husband and I were even able to stay seated at the bar and order food and drinks during the show. And we were still just feet away from the stage. Excellent line-up of local talent, headlined by a hip-hop legend. What an experience. Food is good for the value, but the ambiance and character of the building are the star of the show. The venue is a little small and it definitely feels like you're in a restaurant more than a music hall. But chill energy and vibes overall, we had a great time. Will definitely be back.

Expensive for what you get. I must admit the pasta was fresh, you can tell that it's handmade unfortunately the sauce was bland and you get about 6 scampi for $30 US.

Wow! The food was so insanely good it made me want to lick the plate clean, every bite was worth savoring. The whole vibe is effortlessly cool, with an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. What really sealed the deal was the customer service. The owner was down to earth, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. If you're anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Bar Red. You’ll walk out already planning your next visit.

Bar Red does not disappoint! I met two Denver friends for dinner who had never been to (or heard of) Bar Red and they were super-impressed by everything - the charcuterie board, the pasta, the wine, and Zach's excellent service. This secret gem has a lot to offer!

We loved this little gem! The space is quite small, but very charming. It wasn't too loud so our group was able to converse which is sadly a rarity anymore. We started with the house salad which serves 2, the greens were fresh and crisp. The pasta is made in house and had just the right tooth. We had the salmon, shrimp diablo, carbonara, and lasagna - all were very tasty. The service was super friendly. They gave us 2 complimentary servings of tiramisu to share. Wow! It was outstanding! I'll definitely order it when we return. There is a private lounge area downstairs which would be a great little spot to host a small party. Pro tip: There is a surface parking lot right across the street from Bar Red between the restaurant and the Bellco Theatre. It makes it super easy to park once, dine and attend a show.
What an extraordinary and unique Italian restaurant! I was surprised to see all the flyers for hip hop that are there but there's a stage where these upcoming and dope rappers can perform on a stage that's at the end of the restaurant. Music that was playing was distinct but it was nice to have something that wasn't expected. Our bartender/server, Thomas, was spectacular! It might seem ordinary but the spinach artichoke dip was fire!!! He did a wonderful job of telling us about the food (I thoroughly enjoyed the Il Anti-Pasto!) and pairings to drink with. The food, vibe and excellent customer service is stellar. Very excited that chef came out to talk with us to but we had to compliment him on the remarkable food we got to enjoy! This place is grade A!
