I’ve always loved coming here. Whenever I’m close I get a variety of flavors. 2pm 1/20/26 worst cream puffs I’ve ever had. Some puffs were burnt/extra crunchy and flat. Not round like they normally are. They were all barely filled with cream. Not sure if they changed the recipe or the way they make them or
if it was an error. Either way I’m hesitant to go back.
I love cream puffs and this place is one of the best for them at a good price (especially with the Happy Hour deal!). The lady working the register was very polite and got my order together quickly. If you are coming to the store for the Hololive collab (like I was) please be aware that they have not gotten the merch in yet so they do not have the collab cream puffs either (was told it would be announced on instagram). Still get yourself a delicious treat though!!
I’ve read a lot of people complaining that the pastries here are stale, but I think this is because many people are more familiar with store-bought frozen cream puffs that become soggy when thawed. Beard Papa’s cream puffs are made to order so they aren’t filled with cream until you walk in, which allows the choux pastry to stay crispy—something that’s actually more desirable and ideal for quality cream puffs.
I ordered a box of 12 with different flavors of cream and toppings. The matcha and vanilla creams were my favorites, and for the pastry, I liked the original and Oreo-flavored shells best. The flavor was very nice and delicate. Not overly sweet at all!
The only reason I’m removing a star is because it was National Pastry Day and they were advertising everywhere that you would get five dollars off if you joined their loyalty program through the app. Unfortunately, the app requires you to add a payment method, and they don’t offer Apple Pay, which made me uncomfortable. Even after signing up, I couldn’t accumulate any rewards unless I entered my payment information.
Lastly, $15 for 12 minis feels a bit overpriced in this economy.
I had no idea what these would taste like, and they are delicious! crispy exterior, fresh, and the filling is flavorful without being too sweet.
Been going to Beard Papa’s in ATL for years so was excited to see they have a location in Denver. Delicious, as always! We love the cinnamon/churro, chocolate, and crème brûlée.
Seriously — why have I not heard of this cream puff bakery before now?
How many ways can I say amazing delicious delightful generous creamy and pretty much to die for dessert option? The crème brûlée cream puff was divine !!
Look, if you aren’t an eclair or cream puff person, I understand, we all have our preferences but if you are TRY Beard Papa’s! The name is a bit misleading but omg they are GOOD!
Looking for something fun for dessert? This is the place! Just as tasty as Japan!
Place is good. Not really sure what all the hype was about, but can’t complain about anything. Will be back.
So yummy! A friend dropped off some of the cream puffs to us today. They were so light and airy. Perfectly baked. Some cream puffs are a bit stodgy, not these.
Ordered through door dash for a late order, the flavor was incredible and the staff took great care of us.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and they were “closed” for their break and would re-open at 5pm.
Delicious treats and Ariam was a super sweet and helpful employee here :)
I love this place! Such delightfully subtle sweetness and crunchy texture. We will come back❤️
The cream puffs are amazing. I got some as a gift and was excited to come try different flavors. I did come arguably a bit late (~30min before close) but staff treated us as an annoyance. The employee working the position of sale hardly greeted us - in fact, her face fell when she saw us - and was unpleasant when answering our questions. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand that it can be frustrating when people come in close to closing time. However, the doors weren’t locked, there was unsold product, and we were nothing but polite, so this treatment seems unwarranted. I would have mentioned this on the feedback survey on the receipt, but… it doesn’t work! Not sure if I want to come back, even if the cream puffs are good…
Unfortunately, I wanted to love this place, as I've been here before. The puffs are incredible, but everything else about this experience was frustrating. We waited a long time in line, and were never acknowledged. It was apparent there was a staffing issue and that the only individual working there was overwhelmed. No one said hello, no one gave updates while we waited, and no one kept us informed about how long we would be standing there. After finally making it to the front of the line, we were told they were sold out with no other timeline for a refill, presumably. This kind of lag time with no customer service, and poor communication is unacceptable. If you are selling out of your product quickly, this needs to be communicated to customers being that they are investing their time there. Super disappointing. Maybe they will find better staffing and communication because they have potential, but the experience is definitely not there.
