Stopped by Beard Papa’s as I was at the complex. I got curious about the cream puffs concept so decided to try out. Was welcomed by a friendly staff who explained how the fillings are made. Ordered two crem puffs in vanilla. Would definitely recommend
First thing I noticed was the smell. It wasn't very good and felt like the air was thick with oil. They really need to open the door to let more fresh air in. It's bad enough that I'd prefer to wait outside. The cream ouffs themselves were not what I expected. I've never had creampuffs but I was expecting a thick sweet cream full of flavor like a Boston cream cake or Krispy Kreme cream donut. Look, if you aren’t an eclair or cream puff person, I understand, we all have our preferences but if you are TRY Beard Papa’s! The name is a bit misleading but omg they are GOOD!
