Stopped by Beard Papa’s as I was at the complex. I got curious about the cream puffs concept so decided to try out. Was welcomed by a friendly staff who explained how the fillings are made. Ordered two crem puffs in vanilla. Would definitely recommend
First thing I noticed was the smell. It wasn't very good and felt like the air was thick with oil. They really need to open the door to let more fresh air in. It's bad enough that I'd prefer to wait outside. The cream ouffs themselves were not what I expected. I've never had creampuffs but I was expecting a thick sweet cream full of flavor like a Boston cream cake or Krispy Kreme cream donut. Absolutely delicious! The puffs are perfectly bite-sized and filled with rich, creamy goodness. I tried the vanilla, chocolate, and green tea fillings—each one was amazing in its own way. The texture is just right, and the flavors are well-balanced. Plus, the customer service was top-notch—friendly, welcoming, and truly made the experience even better.
