Big Daddy's Hawaiian BBQ (Denver)

This place used to be great, one of my favorites to order (Uber Eats). Then all of a sudden, instead of packaging the meals in little separated trays, it all just gets thrown together in one big bowl with a bunch of disgusting grilled cabbage added to hide that the portions have shrunk. The grilled cabbage is impossible to eat around, and there's no option to leave it out when ordering. Such a disappointment.

I used to order from here weekly. Delicious food, generous portions, fair prices. Now, they’ve severely reduced the amount of food they give you for the same price. Not to mention - it was once in separated containers, and now all sides and everything are dumped into the same bowl. To pay more for less, and less quality packaging, is ridiculous, which is why I won’t order here anymore. Disappointing as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

I ordered food and the delivery person stole it, after a new person was called to get it, the restaurant made me cancel the order losing $56 bucks and I have to pay another $56 just to get it reordered agian. Absolutely greedy and horrible. Don't order from here

False advertising BBQ steak plate does not look like how it is in the photo. I doubt it's even ribeye.

Tried to order from here on door dash. Placed order at 11. At midnight it still was not ready and said it might be delivered at 1230. Driver had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes waiting. Don't ever order from here. What a waste of time and money.

Listen, idk whats up with these other orders/reviews, but I found BDHB, last night after coming home from a late shift. I wasn’t expecting much, I was just starving. Let me tell you, it was FIRE. Amazing. I ordered the bbq chicken plate and a side of fries. Very basic, but it has restored my faith in Hawaiian bbq in Colorado (iykyk). I WILL be ordering again and I WILL be recommending. It was truly delicious (I’m currently eating my leftovers for breakfast).

The food is great, especially for a ghost kitchen. I’d probably order again. But this place’s service is the worst. Per Grubhub: “Your order was cancelled because the merchant made your order but it was given to the wrong delivery courier and they would not remake it.” What? We spent $70 and have to wait up to 5 business days to get the refund. To add insult to injury I was able to turn around and place a new order for the same stuff. Only, because we’d already spent $70+ the first time around, I had to place a smaller order the second time around and skip some of the extras because I’m not looking to completely drain our account. You guys could have just remade the original order—it wasn’t my fault you gave it to the wrong courier… Also, in the attached photo is the difference between a regular and a large. They’re the same thing. I don’t know which is which but they’re not giving you anything different when you select a size.

I ordered thru uber eats 45 dollars worth of food for 2 people. tried to contact everyone because I got someone else's order. Tried to call the number doesn't work tried to get a refund thru Uber they told me the order is a match when that's not possible I got someone's DOORDASH ORDER DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

I ordered through Door Dash so I can't speak to service and atmosphere. The reviews there were decent so I expected more from the food. I ordered chicken, coconut shrimp, ric and Mac salad, should be easy. Got beef, not chicken (which seems to be a common issue so someone in the kitchen doesn't know their meats). The coconut shrimp was good, as was the Hawaiian BBQ sauce. The mac salad was also good. The steamed rice? This was awful. It tasted like I was eating spoonfuls of salt. The beef was no different. Couldn't even taste the meat, just salt. So if you like salt as your main dish, go for it. Not for me.
