The food is consistently delicious at The Blue Bonnet. It's a little pricey compared to the other Mexican restaurants in town, but it's worth it. The one complaint I have is that I ordered sopapillas for dessert and was actually shocked at the size. They were tiny!!! And expensive.

I worked downtown thirty years ago and it was incredible, now the food is mediocre. There are so many Mexican restaurants in Denver, that are a lot better. The service, the parking and the atmosphere was perfect.

I've been a patron here since 1991. It was a place I always enjoyed and took all out of town visitors. I was first disappointed in the chips which were quite stale and not salted. This is not typical for Bluebonnet. The queso and guacamole were excellent as always. But my smothered shredded beef with bean burrito was quite bland, which was surprising. Their shredded beef is usually very flavorful. I don't know if this was just a bad day for them, but it was definitely...
