My wife and I stopped by for some authentic Detroit-style pizza and had a delicious and equally authentic four-square pie! I had heard about this place while at Palazzo Di Pizza in Royal Oak, Michigan (recently crowned #6 pizzaria in the country!) as they said I could I could get a similar culinary pizza experience at Blue Pan... And I did! The crust is crisp on the edges and light throughout and the sauce and cheese absolutely perfect. I also had a Mexican style pilsner that the waitress recommended a great draft beer as well! This I can say - you want an authentic Detroit Pie???? This is the place in Denver. Remarkable! Staff was warm and caring and the vibe - perfect! Kudos Blue Pan!

The food was amazing, let me start there! It took FOREVER for someone to actually acknowledge us after we were sat down. After about every employee in the restaurant walked by without saying anything, I was beginning to wonder if I was going to have to serve ourselves. Finally a very nice guy came and helped us out. All was well until the end where he spilled a small jar of marinara on my boyfriend. Got it on his shirt, jeans and shoes. I understand, mistakes happen! They were super apologetic, but that's it. No comp for our meal, nothing for when we may come back. Just an I'm sorry and have a good day. I would have NEVER let someone leave my restaurant knowing my employee just ruined shoes and a shirt without some sort of compensation. Highly doubt we will be back by the way this was handled.

I have celiac and I am always on the lookout for a good GF pizza. This place nails it. I've been here 3 times over the last 6 months and I've never been glutened and the pizza is delicious. I would recommend diavola and little rose, both are so good!

Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options for those with celiac or gluten sensitivities. They also seem to take care when preparing in order to not cross contaminate.

Parking: The parking lot is small and shared with other businesses. Street parking seems a bit easier.

Been many times, both dining in and taking out. The standard Detroit-style pan pizza is among the best of any pizza I’ve had in Denver. Getting a half-and-half of the Gold Hill and Brooklyn Bridge signature styles is the easy recommendation here. Crust is consistency fluffy and airy on the inside, and crispy on the outside.

I typically prefer getting takeout, as there is a wait for seating in the restaurant pretty much every time I’ve gone. Because of the style of pizza, the wait for the food is also on the longer side, so it’s best to put in an order early.

I always assumed this restaurant was from Detroit and opened secondary locations in the Denver area, but as it turns out, Blue Pan is unique to Denver!

Super awesome pizza. I got the little rose and it was really good. There is hot honey on it, but it isn't really hot, so I recommend some peppers on there to give it some heat. I like they had a kids' meatball and bread for $4. My kid never eats, so it is nice not to waste 10-15 bucks on something. Parking is pretty limited during the lunch or dinner rush, but that's everything in that area. Restraunt is super small, maybe on 15 tables, so take out is probably the way to go, but we got there at 12, and we're seated right away. A line quickly grew, and there were 15-20 people waiting after us. Beer is a little pricey, and some drink specials would be nice. Super hipster vibe, I definitely stick out like a sore thumb in cowboy boots and ariats, but at least the hipsters wear carhartt too now, haha. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
