Ordered the bison burger and had to send it back because instead of it being medium well, it was more medium rare. Server came back with a new plate of food which I appreciated that they didn’t heat up the previous ordered burger like some places do.

Overall, the food here is very good for what it is. This is a good burger spot with unique burgers and great flavor. The service could’ve been a little better and this place gets busy before ball games. I loved the fish tank inside, it was a great touch to the design.

The Cherry Cricket is one of those rare places that lives up to the legend. The burgers? Still unbeatable. The vibe? Classic Denver—laid-back, unpretentious, and buzzing with energy. But what really made this visit unforgettable was our waiter, Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald was the kind of server who instantly made you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time in. Attentive without hovering, funny without trying too hard, and totally on top of everything—from drink refills to menu recs to making sure the kitchen got our complicated burger orders just right.
He had a sixth sense for timing, always appearing with exactly what we needed before we even had to ask. Plus, he managed to make a crowded, busy dinner rush feel relaxed and easy.
If you’re headed to the Cherry Cricket (and you should be), do yourself a favor and ask for Fitzgerald. The food’s great, but he’s the reason I’ll be coming back again soon.

My friend took me out to dinner here she spent a total of $100 the actual total being $68 for our meal together that we ate. they continuously we’re not assisting us with our meal and when we asked for our order, they kept making mine wrong. I cannot eat raw meat so I told them please cook my burger fully through. They messed it up twice. My friend then told him that she would like to take off the gratitude of the $3.50 and she didn’t even get a chance to explain that she just didn’t wanna have to tip other people because they weren’t helping Our table so why is it our responsibility to tip them on top of it? They couldn’t even manage to get our order right twice. The server came back over extremely frustrated and began to throw the dishes that were in his hand at the wall and started stomping away and dropped all the dishes in his hand and went back to the kitchen to remake it and at this time she told him your behavior was unacceptable. I just wanna get the food to go and it looked like he kind of talked to the staff back there purposely did something to the order because he was mad about not getting a tip. I ended up just walking away leaving 100 so I didn’t have to deal with him. I was pretty upset with the entire thing. I honestly don’t think anybody deserves a tip for the food, the atmosphere and for the service it was quite horrible. I used to love cherry cricket, but definitely not the downtown one the only cherry cricket I would go to is in Cherry Creek because this one sucks I would not recommend atmosphere is horrible. The only thing good in there is probably the fish tank
