I've been going there for decades. The atmosphere is great for watching games but they have never put a premium on serving quality food or having top flight service. Grab a beer and watch a game but if you are expecting good creative food you are at the wrong place. Much of their food feels like it is frozen out of a Cisco Bag.
When my friend comes back in town for a visit, we alternate between different bars to get our group of Cowboys fans together. Choppers has been on that rotation for years, depending on the time of the game and who else is playing. This place gets packed!
