For starters, this place is very dog friendly which is a great find in Denver. That's about all that went well during our dinner. The food was somehow very spicy but also bland (like maybe had been seasoned with jalapeño and that's it), chips were stale, and service was very slow. The one server/bartender was extremely apologetic about the delays, but from other reviews it seems like this is actually the norm here. Might come back for only drinks.
Excuse me, but this place is the bomb. Usually fusion type restaurants fall flat & don't do justice for either/any of the cuisines, however, the food is flavorful without trying to be anything authentic. You know why you're here - excellent happy hour specials, and to see Erica. Erica, our favorite hottie, basically has our drinks ready the minute we sit down every time. I'm down in the area for a brief time. I decided to try out their Carne asada fries. The guacamole was made in house. It is good. The avocado was not quite ripe but the flavor is good. I swear this weighs 3 pounds. The meat was tender enough. I should have asked for salsa to go. Good service.
