We stayed at the Limelight Hotel for four nights and had breakfast at Ajax three mornings in a row. Every morning, my husband had the latte, and I had the cappuccino, both solid, but the real highlight was the care and execution from the kitchen staff.
On our first day, I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the scrambled eggs were the fluffiest I’ve ever had, clearly cooked low and slow with intention. The breakfast potatoes were crisp and plentiful. The next day’s omelet was just as delicious.
For our last evening, we ordered room service, and I finally tried the duck entrée I’d been eyeing all week. Even delivered to our room, the skin was beautifully crispy, and the smoky flavor was absolutely divine. You can tell the kitchen team takes real pride in their food. Highly recommend Ajax!

Not a great experience, food came out cold, we were charged for things we didn't order. We had things brought to our table we didn't order and then were charged for them, and no apology was made for any of our attempts to explain

Really delightful meal. I had the duck breast and it was amazing. Can be difficult to get duck right, but Ajax nailed it. Our server was super helpful and friendly. Ambiance was lovely and great location.
Food was delicious. They were accommodating and service was overall good. I had the smoked chicken and really enjoyed it.

Very nice restaurant. 1 star missing because bar too slow (need 2 bartenders). I ordered a drink before dessert. Finished dessert and canceled three drink then because no progre still, after I finished the dessert. I finally cancelled so I could pay out.

We had a 6:00 PM reservation arrived on time. The hostess was busy trying to accommodate a party who did not have a reservation, and it wasn't until 6:15 that she finally acknowledged us. We were not seated until 6:20.the party who did not have a reservation were seated directly next to us. Our server took their order before even approaching our table, despite us clearly stating that we were ready to order. Nearly ten minutes later, around 6:35, she finally came over to take out the Ajax team does not know what the purpose of a reservation is supposed to be.

We had an interesting experiemce. Our food took forever to come out...so late that we were going to be late to our play. I could see people in the kitchen and the waitress and manager doing what they could to help out but it took forever anyway. I appreciated them trying and did my best to stay calm and enjoy the food when it finally came out. They took the wine and appetizer off our check so that was nice. I'd definitely go back but with plenty of time afterwards. Still left a note and a good tip since the were so kind.
