Our meal started out well with a complimentary glass of champagne for our Anniversary and an excellent trout appetizer. I ordered the pork chops which were so dry they were inedible. I was told it would take 25 minutes to cook another one which is probably why the first was overcooked. They offered me 2 sides instead because they said another entree would take too long to cook. Very disappointing.

Had a business lunch in a quiet corner table. Waiter let us talk before ordering 2 guests asked for substitutions-not a problem. It is a limited menu , no fish, but the food was well-prepared.

Was just ok. First visit since it bacame Ajax. Sunday brunch . Read some reviews before visiting and one that stood out was "eggs were not cooked as ordered". Sure enough, one in my party ordered eggs over medium, I wasn't going to chance it so I went with eggs scrambled. The over medium eggs came out extremely runny. Server was a bit pushy to order drinks, food and clearing plates. The place was very quiet so maybe she had time to be attentive. Eggs cooked medium is defined as "whites that are fully cooked and a yolk that is partially set but still slightly runny in the center" these eggs had no partially set center yolk. I'll be back for lunch or dinner and see how that goes.

Terrific Saturday brunch. The Dutch Baby pancake was delicious. Greek yogurt with loads of fresh fruit and granola was also terrific, as was the frittata. Generous portions, great service, quiet vibe, and beautiful space. All very well done

Food took awhile to come out, but when it did everything was very charred to extent of brunt. I understand that it is cook on an open grill/fire, but there is a certain extent of char. Example Shrimp was overcooked and burnt along with the sword fish. I asked for a new swordfish and it was undercook, I understand chef didn't want to burn it again, but it left a fishy taste in my mouth and ruined the entire course.

waiter was super pushy, pushing champagne, extra items on the menu, dessert etc...I know he needs to sell but it was not relaxing, also, this was a bday party, he said happy birthday every time he came to the table, I wish I had not said it was my sisters bday at all, it was super annoying.

Michelin quality, waiting to be discovered. Incredible small plates - get them all! The campari tomato was fresh and delicious, I keep dreaming about the pate & foie, and the sea scallop udon (yes the noodles are made out of sea scallops) is creative and savory. Service was spot-on. We live nearby and this will be a regular spot for us.

Probably one of the worst brunch experiences I've had. Restaurant was extremely loud even though the dining room was not full during peak Sunday brunch time. The food was absolutely awful. I ordered a “basic breakfast”- eggs, potatoes, toast, fruit. Eggs were extremely under cooked though I asked for “over medium” and thrown onto the plate very sloppily with bits of uncooked egg splattered onto all the other food on the plate. Fruit was unwashed and not fresh, very bad presentation too. Toast was hard and cold, potatoes were flavorless and mushy. My Bloody Mary was bitter and sour tasting. My server wasn't very genuine or polite. Prices were high for what it was. This restaurant felt really mid. It felt like it is trying to be upscale, but lacking the right management to do so efficiently.

The food and cocktails were innovative and incredible. The only disappointing thing we had was the halibut but the overall experience far made up for the one meh dish. The white chocolate cheesecake with miso caramel seasonal special as mind blowing. Highly recommend.

I had lunch at Ajax when it first Opened and it was ok. I went back last night and the entire experience was very disappointing. I had to send back the mushrooms as they were cold and the roasted chicken was actually smoked chicken and I did not care for it at all. Service was slow - even though the restaurant was not that busy. I had hoped for French Fries because they were good at lunch - but they are not available at dinner. I will not be back.
