Crimson and Gold is a hidden gem near DU—the atmosphere is always lively, welcoming, and a perfect way to get the night started. The vibe strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and energetic. Aside from the atmosphere, let’s talk about the real MVP: the blonde bartender who gave absolutely stellar service. Charming, quick with a pour, and somehow managed to handle the packed bar gracefully. 10/10 will be back, mostly because I think my drink misses me.

The absolute worst service I’ve received at any trashy college bar in my life. Two years of visits in a row I’ve experienced bartenders who will blatantly serve people who just walked up in front of you, and continue to ignore you. Crazy attitude to go with it. Watched the bartender pour everyone’s drink with half the amount in a normal single as well. Just drink anywhere else first if you plan on going here.

If you have posted hours, observe them. It's a friday night. If colorado is going to have ridiculous unconstitutional holdover prohobition laws, the bars should at least stay open to their posted hours.

For the first time in forever , they charge a “$30” cover . “For free drinks they say” They have 1 bartender behind the bar that charges for shots and drinks. Horrible service won’t be coming back

Fun place if you’re okay with a sticky college bar for a hockey game or a late night drink. I work on the block and used to come here for after work beers. I don’t like that they have a lotto machine inside; I feel that is very predatory towards college students who are new to the adult world.

My friends and I came here for st patty’s day once, and a bunch of drunk college girls were singing karaoke, not bad entertainment I guess. The door to the women’s room was off its hinges and broken, and the bathroom was pretty nasty. If your expectations aren’t high, this place is acceptable for drinks.
