Place has gone terribly down hill since the days of old, also they don’t open till 9 am i can’t get a breakfast burrito before work??? ill just have to give my money to Santiago’s. People running the creamery are not serious people.

it had been a place that I would go to every Sunday growing up so I decided to make a special trip and get a burrito you must try the #4 with extra cheese mild OMG still taste the same as I remember so if you find yourself in the Curtis park area stop in you won't be disappointed
My smothered burritos was cold. No extra meat and cheese like I paid for. Service was good and fast.

We ordered the #3 and #4 burritos, which were fairly inexpensive but on the smaller side. There is not much difference between ground beef in a soft taco wrap and these burritos. Basic and still good to eat, but not as impressive as the nice park nearby. However, the shop itself is charming and the people were nice!

I’ve gone for a burrito a couple of times and requested the smothered but they never put cheese or lettuce on them. Not the same creamery I visited when I was younger

I hesitated to return to this place, but thought I would give it another try last week... Unfortunately, it was another disappointment.
To sum it up, I ordered 4 smothered burritos, 2 sodas, and a small rice & beans. This came out to a total of over $70!!! The high price was apart due to the fact I added a tip. The tip screen starts at the lowest being 18%. I have to say, nice business schtick, since I didn't even want to give a tip seeing my first time wasn't good, but I felt pressured- the cashier's eyes were beaming straight on me as she held the computer towards me (turned around so I could touch the screen). She didn't break her stare as she watched to see what I would press. 18% made the tip over $12.
Items (sodas) were missed my first time here, but also, the beans and rice were missed this time and I didn't want to return the next business day to request them.
Admittedly, I went towards the end of the day- they close at five, but they only had enough steak for two burritos and the other two had to be ground beef. No chicken left, no pork. The burritos were ok in flavor, but not anything above average and the size of each was rather small, especially for the price. They were not accompanied by anything else; no garnish, no lettuce, no tomato, no sour cream, no guac, ect.
There is no place to sit and eat, so it must be to-go. I've been to alot of fabulous hole-in-the wall Mexican food places in my life, but this was not one of those special places. Their horchata tasted like dirty milk the first time, I dare not try again.
I wish I had one positive thing to say about the food or my experiences. Even their politeness felt disengenuine as the only attention paid towards me was when I was punching in the large tip. Sloppy, expensive, poor food, poor atmosphere.

Been coming here forever. I just wish they would be more consistent with the flavor of the food. It seems to be better at the end of the week. My rellenos were burnt and they are using a different kind of cheese which I'm not a big fan of. Come on creamery. Let's not get careless.

Been coming here for over 20 years my parents too! Always delicious very good flavor the hot is just right if you know good food and grew up eating here you know what’s up ! Chile rellenos smothered hot my favorite and the taquitos omg so so good and not stash with the meat and cheese! The staff is great always joking and friendly ! Thank yous for the great food and great service !!!!
