We've always loved going to D Bar Denver for special occasions, absolutely gutted that they're closing down for good. It's been our family's favorite spot to celebrate with good food and good atmosphere, and of course amazing desserts.
A bit noisy and frentic for the last day of D Dessert Bar on 19th Ave. Enjoyed the food, but the last day for staff was difficult. Tipped 20% on top of the 8/3% added to the bill for "business costs".
This was our first visit. We met friends from out of town for brunch and we were all impressed. Nice menu options. The food and service were exceptionally good. Can't wait to go back.
We absolutely love going to DBar. They used to have one in San Diego, California that we would go to all the time. The best thing about this one in Denver is we were able to sit on the patio with our two dogs and the waiter and everyone was super nice and brought them treats. The pizza salad sandwich and cru fries are the absolute best!
There was three of us in our party and the meal took 2.5 hours. We had a reservation and were sat right away. We had a shareable, entrees and dessert but the time to eat was extensive.
We ate in the bar area, and enjoyed sitting by the window and being served my the bartender's. The food was very good and the wine selection offered some choices that we liked. Very nice evening.
Sat at the dessert bar with Afton chatting with us. Absolutely delightful. She was incredibly helpful, fun and kind! Will come back and sit here just for her! We got the chocolate peanut butter souffle with the banana beignets 10/10! Was my boyfriends first souffle and he couldn't have loved it more! Thank you Afton!

So good. Had the Funfetti Cake for dessert. Awesome
D Bar has great food and drinks, which is why I picked it for our meetup spot! However, the service and communication left a lot to be desired. It felt awkward and rushed. During our one hour time, 3 servers came to ask if we were almost done. The restaurant had many open tables and I may be missing context as to why they were asking. Regardless it made our experience uncomfortable and we didn't get a second round of drinks or anything other than appetizers because of this.
really superb food. Chef Keegan is a master chef!

I’ve been a regular at D Bar since I’ve moved to the area three years ago and it’s become one of my favorite restaurants ever! The food is immaculate, some of the very best I’ve had. Any meal: brunch, lunch, dinner, or drinks. I invite any friend I can here, especially out of town friends, and they’re always impressed. Heather in particular is a wonderful server and bartender. She is so friendly and attentive and fun to talk to. No matter where I move in the future, I’ll always come back to D Bar for the best food, atmosphere, and service.
