I have visited Daughter Thai a few times when I am in the neighborhood and the group I am with are all feeling like getting some of that unique Thai spicy. There has been a recent boom in Thai restaurants all over Denver and I am here for it!

The restaurant does a really good job of cultivating a spot ideal to grab some Thai food while also having a business lunch. It is clear that the wait staff was trained to handle those kinds of customers very well. It is also just loud enough in there to not be awkward in between conversation but quiet enough to easily hear the person across from you. Just for that, I don’t hesitate to bring my customers here. With that said, their lunch special is at a very reasonable price and the portions are such that you won’t be falling asleep at your desk after lunch. The dinner prices are, in my opinion, very inflated.

The food itself is pretty good. The appetizers leave a lot to be desired but the entrees are good and close enough to being authentic. I’m a big fan of their true Thai spice levels. If you haven’t had Thai food or are unaware of the Thai spice levels, please start with mild or ask the wait staff to explain.

I will be visiting more in the future for my business lunches!

Their lunch special has really good value for this type of restaurant. Entree, salad, and a drink for 20 bucks is not a bad price at all.

The red curry I got was so good. Super tender beef, perfect sauce. I would like to come back.

Food use to be very tasty and colorful but the price of two chicken pad Thai for $54 is insane for really just rice noodles since i ordered it gluten free. I use to love this establishment but i feel very ripped off for the food that I paid for.

Great experience overall! The Thai tea was good quality and had just the right amount of sweetness. I got the panang beef curry and it was absolutely fantastic. Good quality, juicy beef that really stood out. Perfectly spicy sauce offset by the sweetness of the coconut milk. Balanced spices that had so much flavor, but still let the quality of the main ingredients shine through. The service was fantastic too. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants some awesome Thai food in Denver!

The atmosphere is great but the food is average, just plated to he pretty.
We had a dinner of 11 people and most of not all of us were not impressed by the food. The server was polite but didn't check on us the whole meal, and we had to catch him to get anything. The proportions of the food aren't consistent either. Three of us ordered pad thai but with different protein. I ordered crab pad thai and it was significantly smaller than the other pad thai dishes. It came with a single soft shell crab, but otherwise was primarily tofu despite being the most expensive pad thai on the menu it. The noodles were not pad thai noodle either, they were significantly smaller. So the portion was smaller, most of it was a protein I didn't want, and it was average. The crab was soggy with oil. It's very pretty, but too expensive to have inconsistent dishes. I'm disappointed overall. It is decorated pretty but that's about it.

Good but expensive imho. A one and done, or a place to take a date. One dish + 1 cocktail cost me $75 with tip.

Food was good but not mindblowing or abundant, and the cocktail was fine but not great / memorable. Wouldnt throw $17 at that again.

Presentation, service and atmosphere are great: i'd say a great place for a date or a small group dinner.

Soooo disappointing. My $30 noodle dish was way spicier than the medium I ordered but the real issue was that other than spicy, it was EXTREMELY bland. Even though I was hungry I ate very little because it just wasn’t good at all. I was super hungry at the end of the night and so thought I’d try it again because I didn’t want to make something. It almost made me gag; it’s hard to describe but it was almost watery tasting. I gave two stars because the vegetables were crunchy and the shrimp was cooked well, even though there weren’t many. I try to not waste food but I didn’t even eat 1/3 of the dish over two sittings and the portions are moderate, not large, to begin with.

My $16 mezcal drink wasn’t great earlier, not bad but nothing I’d ever buy again, especially for the price. Just not a great mix of flavors imo.

I’ve had A LOT of thai food in my life and this was both the worst dish and the most expensive I’ve ever had.

My friend suggested the place based on something she’d heard so I didn’t want to complain but I wish I would have. She got pad thai. Her dish (med) was even spicier than mine. I tasted hers and it tasted like very sweet spicy ketchup and tamarind paste. Definitely not recommended. Save your hard earned money for somewhere else.

We came here for a special occasion last month and had this restaurant on our list for awhile. While the food was pretty good, it was very disappointing how many options cross contaminated with shellfish. This is common allergy and more than half of the menu was untouchable. There’s no mention of this on the menu or website-I feel kind of bamboozled by this. Pretty disappointing.
