One of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life. The girls that work the counter are definitely at their first job but they are killing it. Get the #6 English muffin breakfast sandwich with all the meats!

I'm a caregiver and bring my client here 4 times a week for breakfast, he loves it and so do I! They have good food and a great atmosphere. Every single employee is personable and just over all accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that eats food ?

Donuts are tasty.Other food was not very good. Lumpy hollandaise. Rubbery English muffin. Bland biscuits and gravy. Maybe there’s other stuff on the menu that’s good, but we did not find it.

My chocolate donut tasted like acetone & had to be thrown straight in the trash. Apparently this is because they are going against food standards and reusing icing for multiple days, allowing an acetone taste to develop. Hard no ever ordering from here again.

This place had a line out the door. It was a very short wait, I ordered the steak and eggs. I was told there would be about a 15 minute wait on it and I was ok with that. They sat me 5 minutes later I had my food. GREAT JOB ALL. The employees were helping clear tables run food and take orders without losing a smile! Keep it up. Give this place your breakfast cash:)

The Grumpy Egg is like eating in your Grandmas kitchen. It's great food prepared and served by happy, caring, friendly folks that are like family.

Hey fellow foodies! I've got some great news about our beloved breakfast spot, The Grumpy Egg. They're now kicking off the week with us, opening their doors on Mondays from 6am to 12pm. Who knew, right? I wish they'd let Google in on the secret because I almost missed out, thinking they were closed like usual. So, about my latest visit - it was fantastic as always. The Grumpy Egg has this cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home, and their food? Simply amazing. They've got everything from your classic eggs and bacon to some really creative dishes that will have you coming back for more. In a nutshell, The Grumpy Egg is nailing it with their food, atmosphere, and service. Just a heads-up to the team - let the world know about your new Monday hours. It's too good for anyone to miss

Clearly I was enjoying my donuts as most of them are gone, however buried under a layer of vanilla icing I found this piece of black spongey material. Not a welcome surprise, glad I didn't eat whatever it is by mistake.

I don't know how this place is busy. Grilled Combo was extremely plain. Potatoes were just frozen store bought. You're basically paying overprice for a typical hotel Continental breakfast. Then my pancakes were served with another plate stacked on top. Servers take note: NEVER stack plates while serving. Very unsanitary. They also forgot our side order of chilli. We definitely won't be coming back.

This place rocks! If you haven't eaten here, get in your car and go! You're going to love this family owned and operated squat and gobble on the north side, open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Counter service with a self-serve coffee and water refill station and all the condiments. Delicious food made with love by happy people. My new number one breakfast destination!
