Went during Restaurant Week. Food was wonderful and innovative, if a bit expensive and some items were a tiny bit too spicy. The live music was a delight. Had asked for a booth, made reservations several weeks in advance, but the couple in right front of us whom I believe did not have reservations got the only booth left. They generously accommodated us by sitting us at a table and moving us to a booth a little while later. I used to visit Baur's as a child in Denver, and...
Dined pre show at The Buell. Emphasised this point several times to our server who unfortunately disappeared at crucial moments delaying food and check delivery. Also meant taking our desserts to go to eat in the interval at the show! Not ideal dining but they were very good. Participation in the Denver restaurant week seemed to curtail the menu but we managed to make that work by sharing two three course meals ($35) between four of us. Perhaps a better venue if you are rocking...
