The Denver Stockyard Saloon - The Yard Bar is a historic restaurant located in an old building with a unique atmosphere. The food served is delicious, with standout dishes being the burrito and the Jessie James burger. Customers have enjoyed the roast beef dip sandwich with cheddar, and the house-made chips, which are thick yet very crispy, are highly recommended. The Whiskey Pepper sauce is also a popular addition. The bar ensures guests are well taken care of, and the atmosphere is described as chill, with good music and great prices. It has a super cool, dive bar feel but remains spacious with plenty of room between tables. Despite the mediocre service noted in the past, recent visitors found the staff to be friendly and fast, even during busy times. Sadly, after over 80 years of service, the restaurant is closing in April due to development, making it a place many hope to visit before it’s gone. Overall, it’s a great spot to try out and a place many are sad to see leave.
