Elways has, unfortunately, sharply fallen in value and quality. Do yourself a favor and head over to Capital Grille instead. The lamb chop fondue felt like a completely different dish from a few years ago. The cheese sauce tasted bland and the gritty texture ruined every bite. The steak was undercooked and under seasoned. The lobster mac and cheese was mediocre at best. One of the cocktails came with a rotting orange garnish, the mojito didn't come with mint and their barrel aged manhattan was served like an old fashioned. For a $300 dinner I expected much better food.
We were on a boys sports weekend and our server Michael ensured we were looked after. Service was incredible and cocktails and wine were over the top. I would highly recommend Elway's.
The ambience was wonderful!! Our server was great! However, I was very disappointed in my steak. Basically, I ordered it medium well and it came out well done (actually crunchy edges). For the price of this steak, it was discouraging to see it cooked so well.
We had a nice dinner at Elway's. The service was fairly slow for a Thursday evening. We ordered steaks and sides and it took a while to come. Another group was having a work party and was being quite loud which was just a bit annoying. Overall the food was good and it was a solid experience.
Food and ambiance were amazing. Juan our server was excellent. Like most steakhouses, it wasn't cheap. Date night! Wine was good but a bit more over priced than usual.
Our dining experience was amazing. We celebrated my brother's birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. My brother and I had steaks, and my sister-in-law had a pasta dish. Our macaroni and cheese and truffle fries were excellent. Everything tasted delicious. The ding dong was amazing. That's the main reason why I wanted to come back because their ding dong dessert is a truly one-of-a-kind dessert. They even had a cute, edible piece of chocolate with the words “Happy Birthday” written on it for my brother.
This was a very good meal and Rebecca was a great server do the key lime pie. It is really unique and delicious!
Elway's was wonderful. The Lamb Fondue is a particular MUST HAVE. It was amazing!! I don't eat a whole portion as a bariatric patient, and the staff was kind enough to split our steak before serving our steak. The drinks, while excellent and smooth, were SUPER PRICEY, $28 for an Old Fashioned was outrageous to me. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.
Elway's was the best! From all of the staff to the atmosphere! We're from out of town and my fiancé is the ultimate John Elway fan!! They gave him souvenirs and we got to tour the Elway room!! He was so excited to have had such an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Denver!! Thank you Elway's!! 🧡💙
Great food and great service. I would definitely go again. I had a filet that was cooked perfectly and the cheesecake was delicious. The reserved table was ready when we arrived.

Food and drinks were amazing! Steak was cooked perfectly. Primary issue was the level of service. We probably saw our waiter twice the entire night. The food also took an hour to come out.

Food could have been great if it wasn't absolutely coated in salt, like every bite was crunchy with salt. Very disappointing.
What an amazing evening at Elways. My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and couldn’t be more impressed with Elways. This might be our new favorite steakhouse in Denver. The staff was so delightful for a Monday night that is typically slow. We had amazing ceaser salad, lobster Mac and cheese, truffle fries and the best charred ribeye. We got the homemade ding dong for desert and will forever order this for desert. The wine selection is wonderful as well.
