This was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The ambience is perfect, the steak and eggs were amazing, which highlight the Elway filet mignon, as well as the amazing Dubai chocolate pastry, with an immense amount of pistachio, and topping off with a fabulous cocktail, the maple bacon old-fashioned. There's nothing like it.
Elways wasn't busy and underdelivered. It was my 50th birthday and wanted to have dinner with my family at a high end steakhouse. The appetizers arrived late and the waiter didn't check to see if the salads n calamari were good. Our main course of steaks arrived an hour later, cold and not cooked properly. The side dishes arrived 15 mins afterwards. We voiced our frustrations to the manager on duty and he comped the entire meal but 50 th birthday experience was indeed a forgettable one
Elway's at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, making it a perfect setting for a relaxed but upscale evening. Every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, and the overall pacing of the meal was just right. Everything felt thoughtful and well-executed, creating a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. What truly made the night stand out was the service. Special thanks to Alex, our server, for providing outstanding, attentive, and genuinely warm service. Alex was knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire meal. The attention to detail and care elevated the experience to another level. Elway's is a fantastic choice for a memorable dining experience in downtown Denver. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it—especially if you're lucky enough to have Alex taking care of you.
Along with our good friends, we had dinner at Elway's last Saturday before going to the theater. We were regular customers at the Cherry Creek North location before they closed. The steaks were excellent, however, we were disappointed with the asparagus side and “ding ding” dessert. The asparagus was removed from our check when we raised a concern with our server.
I actually like the one at the airport better. The sides are super limited. But the fries are amazing
The restaurant is amazing, excellent service. Staff friendly. Food was great. Oysters were so fresh. The drinks were not that great. Can we have more options on mocktails. Other than that it's a wonderful restaurant.
The food was excellent. Our server was excellent. The table beside us had three women who acted as thought they were in their living room - loud, obnoxious and somewhat rude due to the level of their voices. I don't hold this against Elway's and we will definitely be back!
Our experience was extremely disappointing. Disengaged wait staff, cold food, needing to ask for salad dressing and steak sauce. The price was not an issue but the service and food was not acceptable.

Kitchen really slow but made up for it with complimentary appetizers for our table of 6. Out of caviar so couldn't order my olives. The pasta had zero seasoning. Crab cake was gigantic and amazing. Lobster tails and baked potatoes were amazing. Ceasar salad was dry.
Elways has, unfortunately, sharply fallen in value and quality. Do yourself a favor and head over to Capital Grille instead. The lamb chop fondue felt like a completely different dish from a few years ago. The cheese sauce tasted bland and the gritty texture ruined every bite. The steak was undercooked and under seasoned. The lobster mac and cheese was mediocre at best. One of the cocktails came with a rotting orange garnish, the mojito didn't come with mint and their barrel aged manhattan was served like an old fashioned. For a $300 dinner I expected much better food.
We were on a boys sports weekend and our server Michael ensured we were looked after. Service was incredible and cocktails and wine were over the top. I would highly recommend Elway's.
The ambience was wonderful!! Our server was great! However, I was very disappointed in my steak. Basically, I ordered it medium well and it came out well done (actually crunchy edges). For the price of this steak, it was discouraging to see it cooked so well.
We had a nice dinner at Elway's. The service was fairly slow for a Thursday evening. We ordered steaks and sides and it took a while to come. Another group was having a work party and was being quite loud which was just a bit annoying. Overall the food was good and it was a solid experience.
