Gluten free pizza was so delicious. The crust had a sweet taste to it and was a little thin crust. We had the white pizza and the cheese was perfectly salty and delicious. The place looks like a hole in the wall in the side of a bar. This is definitely a hang out spot. You have to walk through the bar to get to the food. That gf pizza was worth it. It's one size, so 2 of us ate it over a couple days.
We just happened across this wonderful place during the lunch hour and it was amazing. If you are looking for an awesome slice or whole pie of New York style pizza this is our current #1 in Denver.
The traditional new york style is good, but just only good. And the sauce is what makes it so. It was definitely not cooked long enough. It was chewy. Floppy. Not crispy. Still very hot. If you want a real new york pizza, Big Bill's in Centennial is the best I've found and definitely the way to go. Also $17.50 for an 18 inch at Big Bill's vs $27 at Famous J's, and Big Bill's has indoor seating.
