We were very disappointed to arrive at our scheduled reservation time and the restaurant was closed for a private event. No one contacted us to let us know. We had a group of 12 and to have us all arrive only to find out it was closed was shocking and frustrating to say the least. Do better!

Federales was fantastic. The tacos were AMAZING. I had the pork and pineapple, the carnitas, and the spicy chicken, and all three were full of flavor. The free chips and salsa were surprisingly great too. We also ordered the guacamole and queso, and both were fresh, creamy, and really tasty. Federales is an easy yes for anyone who loves good tacos.

We were on vacation in Denver and decided to venture out, and of course, we looked for a place for Taco Tuesday. We were so lucky and blessed to be able to land at Federales! From the moment we went through the door to the time we left, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Nevada greeted us and throughly explained our eat and drink options! We had the drink of the month,tacos , fajitas and a great dessert! All were yummy! We even played a game where you throw an ice shot to ring the bell! If you are looking for great food, atmosphere and fun Choose Federales! Thank you NEVADA! We'll be back!

My boyfriend got us drinks last night about 30 mins before close and the brunette bartender was incredibly rude. We just wanted to get a quick drink before heading home. It felt like we were an inconvenience to her as she was cleaning bottles and trying to close even though they were still serving. As a bartender myself, I understand wanting to start on shutting down, but also you still need to cater to customers. I have had this experience multiple times at federales where I feel like I, as a customer, am annoying the bartender by asking for a drink. Will not ever be coming back.
More about the party scene than the food, but the potato taco was delicious. Clearly the service is secondary to the bar scene.....we waited a long time between visits from the server.

The service was good. Our server was attentive and sweet. The food was good and decent sized portions. The salsa, Guac, and chips are super fresh and tasty. The chicken fajitas were sizzling and had plentiful sides. Good drink options. Only minus was the volume of music, especially inside. Too loud to converse easily. I would go back and sit outside.

The food was great overall, fresh ingredients, the right amount of spice in the salsa and food. The mahi in the baja taco was bland, however, and my mom said the shrimp in her taco was also. The rest of our food was delicious, and the chef brought us churros for dessert!

We had a great bday dinner. our servers and the manager were awesome! They were very patient with our large party and they even offered to put the bday cake we brought in the fridge for us without us even asking. We all had a wonderful time!
