Great service

This place has great food, and is a one man show. Quality food has its costs, and sometimes that is time! He deserves 5 stars, and these other reviews are FAR too harsh for a very small, local business. Also- the mushroom empanada is killer.

Great food prepared by a great chef and food professional. Matt uses local, organic ingredients as much as possible in his menus. Don't hesitate to reach out, Matt is a professional and will be sure to take care of you.

Foodie uses Door Dash to complete many of the delivery and catering orders and they do not tip the drivers at all. Sometimes $300-$400 in food is being delivered at very precise times and they must bogart and keep all tips from orders through them.

Wow, I just had their mushroom empanadas and want to go back and get more. The crust was light and flakey while the filling was savory with firm mushrooms and a rich sauce that made each bite delicious. Great local gem.

Long live the small businesses in these trying times.

I contacted Matt for catering of our wedding next year, he took a while to respond via email, so I called him- he was super pleasant to speak with and following our phone conversation he sent me a large questionnaire (about food/menu) to fill out that was very detail oriented. After getting the questionnaire, I was excited about the draft menu he would send to us. He emailed back saying the menu would be created in 48 hours. I didn’t hear anything back from him for about a week, he then called and asked a couple more questions about the potential menu and spoke of how busy he was (which I totally understand)...but then heard nothing back from him yet again. I emailed asking if there was anything else I could answer for him to help create the menu, and received no response. I was really excited to have him cater our wedding after reading all good reviews and seeing his detailed questionnaire...so it was disappointing to have a not so good experience. I don’t like to write bad reviews but I feel like if you decide you do not want to take on a job or are too busy, please email back and say “I’m sorry, I am busy and I cannot take on this job right now” or something along those lines, instead of not responding

I've been here a couple of times now to pick up some take and bake empanadas. They are spectacular. My wife and I've have now had all of the savory empanadas. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that we get them frozen and heat them up in the oven before eating, and I don't know if they can get any better, but I'll have to try them fresh baked. The store itself if fairly non-descript, so you may miss it if you don't know where it is. I texted my order in advance and was immediately texted an invoice which I could pay on my phone. Easy peasy. I'd highly recommend trying out Foodie Call if you haven't. Matt is wonderful and the food is even more wonderfuller if that's a word. Get one of each and treat yourself whenever you want! My favorite has got to be the wild mushroom and cheese, but the chicken pot pie is a close second!

Matt and his team catered our wedding earlier this month and I mean it when I say - this was one of the most beautiful, healthy and satisfying catered meals I've ever had! Not only did he put together such a thoughtful and personalized menu for us, but the food tasted delicious and was all sourced locally. On top of it all, he was such a pleasure to work with and was so accommodating to small requests that came up along the way. The Foodie Call is not your average catering company. It's fresh, unique, delicious and thoughtful - all at a very decent price. Thank you, Matt! We're looking forward to visiting you at an upcoming pop-up. - Emily & Kyle
