Piss poor service from wait staff and bartender. We got our first round of drinks by the time we were eating our entree while guests sitting at the bar were on their third drink. Bartender clearly has some time management issues he needs to address and work on. We only got one refill of water while other guests were quickly attended. The bartender spent so much time engaging with the guests at the bar that the guests waiting for beverages at the tables were left waiting longer than expected. It doesn’t take 15+ mins to make a mediocre Bloody Mary. Food quality was subpar and it was basically an elevated subway sandwich.

The manager and black coats were really nice and helpful in helping me navigate my allergy to gluten there. Some sushi is gluten free but it is cross contaminated since they use the same cutting board. They were walking to work with me to make it completely gluten free on a sanitized cutting board but I would need to make sure I asked a black coat who was experienced with safely dealing with allergens.On a separate note, the bubble tea is fabulous! Got matcha milk tea and it was refreshing with a great earthy but not bitter flavor. So cool that they have my two favorite foods - sushi and bubble tea in such a convenient place. Looking forward to going there often.

Stop in now for Coda Coffee drinks or lunch from the deli cooler. Then when they really get going with live music, poetry, and fancier grub you can say, "I've been coming here forever..."
