Good food that was worth the wait. Staff seemed busy but were quite helpful. They didn’t check on you often and sometimes it was a while between stopping in. Note, if you order a deep dish pizza that will come out later than other food items the people dining with you items will come out.
I’ve been to the original in Chicago, but this visit was exquisite! We brought a group from our Township for an expo. This was the vote! Stellar. Way to go Denver G’s! Admittedly I forgot to photo the pies full bearing, but that’s because we couldn’t to sink our maws into these stellar pizzas. Chicago style, meat and more meat and the Special. Add to that calamari and a salad and fantastic service. You got yourself one heck of a meal.
Pizza crust tastes like it’s just pulled out of the freezer section. I’d rather enjoy the cardboard the pizza came on than that crust again. I’ve tried both the Chicago style and traditional style here and the crusts are both just yuck.
Service was good and our waiter was friendly which was really nice. Not sure why the pizza is so bad for such a famous Chicago place but it simply is.
