I been excited to go and try this place because it was well recommended from friends and tried to come in on Tuesday April for dinner came in at 8:45 there were about 6-7 tables seated and we were completely ignored and not acknowledged for about 10 mins until I had to go to one of the server stations to get the attention of the waitress and she told us they were already closed while their business hrs says they are open until 9pm, neither her or another male worker cared about it or us even after telling him that their neon OPEN sign was still on and that online it says their hrs open until 9pm his response was just to shrug the shoulders and give me the I don’t know look, it’s was clear to me the only they cared about that time was to get done and off work and it’s a shame that business or restaurants suffer from careless employees because I won’t come back or give it a chance again just from this first impression or won’t recommend to friends. Go and spend your money to other place that appreciate business and has better manners or customer service.If you say you open until 9 then honor those hrs otherwise

Reached out to management multiple times with zero response!!! Terrible customer service. I am honestly shocked at the disregard this company has for its paying customers.
It was our first time in and we had a great time! Quinn was super nice and gave us super helpful suggestions and super attentive really provided good service. The quality of the food was amazing and everything melted in your mouth 100/10! definitely will be coming back!!

My son and his friends frequent this restaurant and invited me this evening. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was soothing and relaxing. I can't wait to come back.
I never write reviews. Loved going to Guy-kaku in cherry creek, Colorado location and in down town Denver. I've been going once a month for years. Literally spend thousands at the restaurant. Latest trip, we went for lunch and was sat at a table with my family. After about an hour of a great meal, we were told by the waiter that the table we were sitting at had a reservation in 20 minutes. Even though the restaurant was only less than half full and there were 6 other tables in our immediate vicinity that were empty. We all felt put out like they didn't want us here. The hostess could have sat us at any other table and we would have been fine. I spoke with the manager and asked what would they do for us for making us feel like they were doing us a favor for us being there. Nothing. I asked to speak with her supervisor was told that he was busy that day, it was his day off. No idea if there is a legitimate reason for him not being able to spend a minute. Apparently they only have assistant managers at their Colorado restaurants. They have not filled the General manager spot and the regional manager is the one who deals with these issues. I want Guy-kaku to do well but, I can't bring my family back. Unforced error that lost them a good customer.
This place was fun and good. The food was fantastic and the staff were fun to chat with.

This was our second time in and the food and service were fantastic! Our waiter was absolutely amazing and attentive without being pushy. The food is delicious and so much fun to cook and eat. I was full up to my eyeballs. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
It is fun and different from other dining venues. You cook your own meal at the table, after you are provided with the cuts of meat. Very tasty and a lot of food, enough to take home in a bag. We enjoyed it.

Went for restaurant week and felt like it was a good deal. The marinade was a bit too sweet on the beefbut the 21 day aged beef was delicious and I would get it again. Only real negative is that the ice cream was obviously prescooped and the top have of the scoop was just ice and the bottom half was ice cream.
