Some of the best sushi I have ever had! We chose it just because it was closeish to hotel, but got super lucky with how good it was. We sat at the counter and got to watch our sushi be made which is always fun, everything was incredibly fresh. I'll be making sure to go back next time I'm in Denver!

We went to dinner here before the theater experience. You truly enjoyed ourselves me and my wife. The food was great, they had some in-house sushi that was off the chain. We have decided anytime we go to the theater downtown we will always go to this sushi restaurant. Great food great staff great ambience. I highly recommend it.

A tad bit disappointed with my experience overall. Food was on par but from a service aspect I'm not sure the value is there. Reserved on Open Table with a special request for celebratory wine, which was not acknowledged throughout the meal (will explain). Hardly anybody in the restaurant and yet nobody to greet as we entered. Upon being seated we were placed in between noisy guests who had no consideration for how close quarters the patio was as well as proper etiquette for exiting the restaurant upon being finished. It well beyond 10 minutes to be approached by a server and hardly any kind remarks throughout the meal. As I mentioned they glazed over the celebration request, as that was not brought up, nor did they recognized the wine request ahead of time which ruined any idea of surprise. Finally food arrived, which as I mentioned was good, but for some ambiance is everything, and I was less than enthused with the staff and service at this location. Certainly hope for better if I were to go again!

Another great experience at Hapa Sushi and Grill! The food was outstanding and service was great (Kudos to Isaac, our server). We were rushed for time because we were late for our reservation (traffic on 25 and an Avs game was letting out), but they were able to still get us seated and served in time to get us to our show at the Buell. We really appreciated them accommodating us! It was pretty loud in the restaurant (upper level), but the vibe was fun and lively. My fave appetizer is the shisito peppers and we tried the Magic Mushrooms appetizer for the first time and we loved it! The sushi is always fresh and on point. We recommend their Flavored Sake Flight, lots of great flavors. The Moonstone Coconut Lemongrass was our fave. Always a great time at Hapa Sushi!

Came to celebrate getting my new job. The sushi was so tasty and so fresh. Definitely one of my top favorite sushi places.

We have gone here for happy hour a few times and the deals are amazing! Their rolls are a great size and many to choose from. We came early and the second floor technically wasn’t open and the manager was VERY cool about seating us there anyway. I don’t think the server was thrilled because she made an overt comment about it but honestly, after that she was soooo nice so I didn’t think much of it afterwards. I stuck to saki because most drinks are on the sweeter side and I’m not into sweet drinks but the saki was perfect for my taste preferences and prices are fantastic, especially for that area in Denver.

Best late night sushi in Denver. The atmosphere is amazing. Intimate lighting, candles and amazing music! DJ turns up the tunes at 10pm. Perfect volume to enjoy dinner and enhance the vibe. Jorge the manager is extremely kind. The entire staff is very gracious. AMAZING happy hour menu and prices! My new favorite spot for late night treats!

Went on Sunday for happy hour from 230 to 5pm. Ordered tuna and salmon rolls, typical (2 rolls for $11). BUT, the pork belly for $11 (normal $16) is a 5 star! MELTS in your mouth. Best pork belly I've had. Must order! Kenzi, the waitress and OTHERS ARE super friendly and know the menu! I'll be going again soon!!!

We went for happy hour on a snowy day, there was a strange mix of kids and drunk mid 20s people there. The food is always amazing and the service great.

Dietary restrictions: Getting no dairy options isn’t a problem here

Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed

Wheelchair accessibility: Entry door is kind of narrow with a ramp if I’m remembering correctly

Hapa Sushi is some of the best sushi we've had in Denver! The food is always amazing and fresh, and the staff is so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful date night and loved the atmosphere. Next time, we'd love to sit at the sushi bar—it looks fantastic! The LoDo location is neat and conveniently located, and we take the train in to Union Station and walk around for a bit. Can't wait to come back!

Having been to this location a handful of times, I would say it's good! The staff is usually very friendly and refilled our waters often. Food is fairly priced for the area, especially during happy hour.
My last visit to this location though was kind of... off. Though my friend and I got seating quickly and promptly, our server took a while to take our orders. Not a huge complaint as I understand the job is physically and mentally taxing. After menus were taken away, my friend and I got onto chatting and catching up, showing pictures to each other on our phone. After sometime, we turn around and see the server standing there silently with our waters. No heads up or "excuse me". We felt really bad that we weren't paying attention but also kind of found it weird they hadn't said anything. Same thing happened again when they had brought our food. Maybe they were having an off day or we did something that rubbed them the wrong way, to this day I'm not sure.
Either way, I recommend this place. It was a singular visit that hasn't impacted how I view this location. I would still come back
