We used Happy Bakeshop for our wedding and everything was perfect! The desserts were so delicious and the bakers were able to create cupcakes and macarons that looked very close to our inspiration pictures. We also had a cutting cake that was beautiful and perfect. Would definitely recommend them for a wedding!
I am beyond pleased with my Happy Bakeshop experience. For my daughter's graduation I chose this bakery based mostly on proximity and reviews, and I was one of those annoying customers who doesn't know exactly what they want 🤣 They responded quickly and professionally to my many questions, and once I decided what I wanted I was pleased with the reasonable cost. When I went to pick the order up on Friday I was brought to tears... partly because my baby graduated lol but mostly because the cake looked ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE!!! Just gorgeous. Beyond my expectations. My next thought was well I hope it tastes as good as it looks, and YES IT DID! Delicious. Dense, moist cake and the butter cream is just right. Highly recommend! This will be my go-to for any future cake/cupcake needs!
We used Happy Bakeshop for our wedding 2 years ago and were SO happy with our experience but I never wrote a review so this is a 2-in-1. Today we picked up a gender reveal cake for our family announcement - it was picture perfect AND delicious. Any time we have an event that calls for dessert (or a random sweet tooth) we will be back!
I purchased 1 dozen carrot cupcakes and 1 dozen German chocolate. $90 with tax.. Definitely overpriced for the size and quality. I wouldn't go back.
I stop by here pretty regularly, but lately the inconsistency has been disappointing. Some days the pastries are spectacular, but other times they’re so off it feels like ingredients were forgotten or they’ve completely dried out. I often feel like I wasted my money. It’s a bit of a gamble.
Bought the vegan carrot cake and red velvet! Both delicious! They also have fresh baked dog treats! Will be back again soon!
Actually shocked at the bad reviews! I almost didn't pick up dessert from here after reading some of them but settled for the convenience. Everyone agreed the chocolate chip cookies were out of this world good and the peanut butter cup cupcake was so excellent! Really good frosting and the cake itself was dense but not at all dry. Would recommend!
I bought a custom 8 inch birthday cake for my daughter‘s birthday. It was absolutely what I was looking for in the flavor was amazing. Super moist and designed exactly the way I described!
Stopped in right before closing and they still had a decent selection for us to chose from! The German chocolate cupcake was DELICIOUS!
I stopped in this afternoon to get some cupcakes to celebrate my wedding anniversary tonight and was helped by a friendly employee at the counter. They had a large selection so I picked out a half dozen.
6 hours later, my husband ate the Mexican Chocolate and found it enjoyable. However, I cut 4 more into quarters and we each tried some of the others with very different results. The white on white, red velvet, black and white and the salted caramel were incredibly dry and did not taste fresh at all. The frosting for the Salted Caramel was so bad I actually spit it out. Before today, I'd never met a cupcake I didn't like but, sadly, these were legitimately the worst I've ever had. They left me wishing I had gone anywhere else - even WalMart makes a tolerable cupcake.

We tried several bakeries before deciding on Happy Bakeshop for our wedding desserts because they had the best flavor and texture. We got an 8" cake for cutting and an assortment of mini cookies and bars. Response time was a little slow sometimes, but overall we were very pleased!

I’ve loved the mini cupcakes we have gotten from here, so we ordered a birthday cake for my kiddo’s birthday and provided a reference photo for the decoration. We were never told that a new decorator would be doing our cake and our request for an airplane would be hard for that person to do. I called the store when we picked up the cake to let them know we were disappointed with how it turned out and they said they didn’t have the reference photo on hand and a new decorator without much experience did the cake. They just apologized, but didn’t do anything to make it right (like the sticker says on their box). That wasn’t a huge deal until we cut into the cake and realized it wasn’t very good — the cake tasted old and dry. We thought it tasted more like cornbread than vanilla.

I ordered a cake two weeks before my trip to Denver and it literally looked like they baked the cake that day. When I got it, the cake looked completely fine. Once I cut the cake I was very disappointed, the bread was to hard not even moist and it was a tone of frosting. I love sweets and it was only the frosting in a cake form. I place the order for a cake because I was so excited for all the reviews + was close to my hotel but definitely not coming back, I and paid almost 50 bucks for that cake and definitely not worth it. They have a really nice and friendly person at the counter. Other than that very disappointed. Thank you anyway. At least my mother was able to have a birthday cake, even though it wasn't what I expected.

UPDATE: The response from the owner is disingenuous and false. The employee I spoke with on the phone was the same employee I had emailed with previously about the order. There was no confusion about the status. I asked multiple times to confirm on the phone that my order would be ready for pickup on the agreed upon date and that everything was set.
By the way, I called the number provided by the owner this morning with no response. I assume this reply and all the others on their other 1 star reviews are just a false attempt to save face online. As stated previously, STAY AWAY! HAPPY BAKESHOP IS NOT A HAPPY PLACE!
Stay away!
Similarly to what many others have noted in their 1 star reviews, I ordered and confirmed a customer cupcake order for my 6 year old daughter's birthday only to arrive to pick them up and be told they had no record of the order and would not fulfill the order.
I submitted an online request for 24 puppy-themed cupcakes on Tuesday September 24th for my daughter's birthday party on Saturday the 28th. Happy bakeshop responded quickly via email to confirm the order and to ask a few additional questions, as well to to make sure I was fine picking the order up on Friday evening before the party to accommodate their bakery schedule.
I called the bakery back on Wednesday the 25th at 1:30pm (I have all the phone records). I spoke with the bakery staff for 5 minutes. During this phone call I confirmed that we approved of the puppy designs they had sent, approved the flavors of the cupcakes (4 of them being gluten free), and confirmed that I would be there to pick the order up on Friday at 5:00pm the evening before the party. Before hanging up I confirmed a second time that I would be there at 5:00pm to pick up the customer order.
Flash forward to Friday at 5:00pm... I arrive wife my daughter who has been excited to pick up her puppy cupcakes all day. The staff member working there told me they had no record of my order. I showed him both the email and the record of my phone call. He told me they would make it right and that he just needed to get in touch with the baker. I left him with my name and phone number. He called back about 30 minutes later and told me the baker informed him they would not actually be able to fulfill the order since "they are so busy tomorrow."
Now my daughter is devastated and we are scrambling to figure out an alternative for her puppy themed party tomorrow. Shame on Happy Bakeshop. This place is anything but happy.
