I have never visited their cafe as I live out of state, but I was sent a bag of the Civitas roast as a gift. This was right up my alley. I love a strong black coffee and this was very smooth, no bitterness as some coffees tend to be.
Great working cafe.

Classic third wave roaster charging eye watering prices for the hazy IPA version of coffee that will probably be out of vogue in 5 years. There's only so many descriptors for tart that one can give out: "grapefruit", "cranberry", "orange marmalade", "meyer lemon", etc. I wouldn't be so critical, as this is the current fad, but man, the service is also whack. I'll crawl in to get a bag that doesn't have "raspberry candy" in the flavor list, as the roasters are certainly talented, but I'm not going to exactly enjoy doing it

The kindest people, the best coffee, what more can you want in a local cafe! Huckleberry has been expanding a lot lately and I've been nervous about them being able to maintain their quality during this phase, but they seem to be doing it well! I've been visiting Huck since the early days on Pecos and they're still churning out the best coffee in Colorado. The snacks at the Tennyson location are delicious too!

Favorite beans and coffee in town! I especially am a fan of the Blue Orchid Blend.
Also, they give a free coffee or espresso shot with purchase of beans!
The coffee here was a delightful pick me up while we were in Denver - we even picked up two bags to bring home and we have been loving it!

I absolutely love the employees at this location - they have been here through two ownerships and they are what makes this place the BEST! Everyone has an upbeat attitude and atmosphere

Looked up a number of coffee roasters and decided to give Huck a try. Stopped in late afternoon and grabbed a drip coffee to go. The coffee was decent but nothing stood out that would have me coming back. The service was lackluster and borderline unfriendly. I had expected a bit different based on some reviews and seeing a response from the company justifying the prices for staff compensation. I'm all for that, but then I expect quality service. The space is big with lots of seating, so I could see this being a good gathering spot. All in all, not for me based on the options across Denver.

Every coffee shop has to have a high quality bean or they will die and Huckleberry definitely has a high quality product for my tastes. However, what sets this place apart is the atmosphere and people. They actually engage with you, they remember your name and order, they make sure you know they care. The entire staff, not just one or two of them. Highly recommended.
