We weren’t impressed with the sushi. The salmon sashimi was good. Same with the white tuna. What’s up with the quarter sized square slices of smoked salmon though? Very small. We thought it tasted a bit off too. The actual sushi rolls were decent, very far from the best I’ve had though. You get what you pay for here. I wish there was a more costly sashimi option for bigger slices. I’ll just have to go to I higher end sushi places to get proper, quality slices I guess.?‍♂️As for atmosphere, it was completely dead with only one person working in the entire restaurant when I was there. I will maybe be back…

Ordered for pick up but wish I would have stayed, very cute inside. I was extremely pleased how reasonable the prices were for a roll, excellent sushi. Best I have had in a while and got an extra roll for spending $25. Will be back!!

Ordered from Doordash and this was hands down the worst sushi I’ve gotten in Denver.I ordered a salmon roll and a yellowtail roll. As you can see from the picture it looks like I got a spoiled old fish roll instead.Didn’t put it in my mouth. Do better.

We arrived around 6:30 for dinner on a Sunday. We walked in and were the only people eating in. An employee behind the sushi counter told us to sit anywhere. We sat ourselves and ended up waiting between five and ten minutes before the same employee gave us our waters and menus. We decided what to eat within about 5 minutes, but then it took about another ten minutes for the server to come back to take our orders. The food came out quickly and tasted great. We got three sushi rolls, two appetizers, and one miso soup, which cost a bit over $50. Near the end of our meal, my partner finished his water and it took quite a bit of time before the server came out from behind the counter to refill it. We took the opportunity to ask for the check at that time, which took probably another five to ten minutes to be given to us.The whole time we were there it seemed there were two to four people working on takeout orders, and this kept them from being attentive to us, the only people eating in. I think our server was waiting for us to look over in his direction multiple times before deciding to come over. The food is great, so I would definitely recommend trying it, but if you are in a rush to get somewhere afterwards, it might be good to either order the food to go or to eat somewhere else, because the service was slow due to the focus on take out orders instead of the guests eating in the restaurant.Parking: Since we went on a Sunday during bad weather, we were lucky enough to get a free parking spot right outside the restaurant. But I anticipate parking is much more annoying during the week when the weather is nice.

Looking for Kama at this sushi place is like playing a food lottery - sometimes you hit the jackpot, other times you're just out of luck. If you dare to check your to-go order for mistakes (trust me, they happen), the staff gives you the evil eye as if you've just committed a sushi sin. It's alright if you need Kama, but the day I find another spot that gets my order right without the drama, I'm there!

This is one of few sushi restaurants I can recommend in Denver. Nice sushi, service and atmosphere for a good price.

Drove 30 mins. Walked in at 931 the old man in the back was mad we walked in. Told us they were closing and there was only 4 of us. Do not eat at this place. Not friendly nor accommodating! I wouldn't spend good money here at all! Rude and hateful people work

Great spot for a quick bite to eat. Their sushi is made fresh in front of you and the gyoza is crispy and delicious.

Went here with 4 friend to celebrate a birthday-things started out well but quickly the service tanked. Only those that were seated first got water, let alone any other beverages desired (they beer wine and sake but we were not able to order any!)Ambiance is great-albeit a bit bright. Food-when/if you get it-was on point. Great presentation and flavour.Faster food option seems to be doordash or other delivery than dine-in.

I love the atmosphere of this place, it's been fun going there before or after clubbing as it's open late. The sushi is good and the staff is niceParking: They have a parking lot but it fills up fast.Wheelchair accessibility: It's all on the first floor so it should be wheel chair accessible

The food is good, especially for the price, but the order times they quote are not realistic. Every time I order here I come 5-10min after the pick up time they quote and still wait on top of that.

Everything is good. We came in with another couple of friends during the 50% off sushi&sashimi. Just check your bill though. Our friends and us paid separately and both of our checks got more items added on to it. Too bad we checked it after we already paid. Otherwise I would have given more stars.

Izu is my favorite sushi place in Denver. Always fresh and always fast. I have dined here with a date, with a group and alone. Not one time have I ever been disappointed. They have creative plating from bridges and boats to trays. You never know what you are going to get when you order a lot.I am bias because I was spoiled coming from the Seattle Asian food scene as well as they are close to my house but, the food is always wonderful; so are the drinks and service. They’re the first place I recommend for Sushi in Denver. Period.
