They make the best tofu dish I've ever had. Even if you dislike tofu, tahu Malacca is incredible, crispy, spicy, slightly sweet, tender.

Kent, the owner, has a lot of heart and soul for his craft: 'authentic Indonesian/asian food'.I'm a gado gado fan, specifically the reason I wanted to try this restaurant, and was quite pleased with the dish.Thank you Kent for your hard work keeping authentic asian dishes alive regardless if it's not the popular choice.Oh! And the fortune cookies are ironic based on the owners' philosophy ?

I have been coming here for at least a decade, it is one of the few places my family could enjoy authentic Indonesian cuisine in Colorado. Even a decade later I still regard Jaya as one of my favorite restaurants. Salty fish rice and rendang are some of the family favs, but their pad thai is also my favorite pad thai in the city.

Holy moly. Blown away by the quality and flavor of the food here. This tastes like the Indonesian food we would get when living in Japan. It’s the best Asian food we’ve had in four years in America. The server informed me that many of the greens and herbs are grown by a family friend who keeps a greenhouse for them near Aurora so they have a constant fresh supply of the very specific veggies you need to make REAL Indonesian and Malaysian food. They absolutely make it with love. Is this our new favorite place??

We all know that it is a challenge to find good Asian food in Denver but this place does it RIGHT!!! My friends and I have been looking all over Denver for decent Asian food and after we found this place it's been a regular outing for us. There hasn't been anything on the menu that we haven't tried that hasn't been amazing. The Char Kway Teow is obviously on the top of the list, but the other items are also very good. I would like to add that the fried eggplant is a MUST for appetizers shared appetizer. The flavor profile on that dish is CRAZY. Not to mention, friendly staff and plenty of parking! Also a plus is that this place is right next to Ding Tea so you can satisfy your boba craving after lunch/dinner!

Kung Pao 4.5 stars but the pan fried dumplings had the consistency of day old fried dumplings.

Update 2: Customers don't want to hear about your spat with another customer. Deep breath. Vent outside if necessary. Move on. I heard the story 6 times while waiting for my food.Update: I'm really disappointed they don't deliver anymore. We used to order work lunch from here once a week. Also note, the dining room is really small. Pay attention to busy times.Original post: Favorite place in town.
