Rolls were slightly larger than my thumb. Caterpillar roll had 1 small thin 1/4 slice of unagi. Spicy tuna was imitation crab. Hard pass. Burned for $30.

Very bad attention from the waitress with yellow hair with very bad manners
In addition, it discriminates against people, with insults, terrible service, and they don't have to pay with Apple Pay, a system that in this country we all use the telephone to pay. I would never go back, very expensive and the quality of the food was terrible. I asked for sushi with tempura and no roll was like that. In addition, I asked for something and he gave me something else that wasn't. restaurant. I cleaned the table with bleach and the food took on that smell. A total disappointment.

“I ordered sushi through Uber Eats, and it was the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. The ingredients were not fresh, the taste was terrible, and the presentation was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.”

Great lunch deals but miso isn't miso-y enough, rolls don't stay together, mango sauce is a bit overwhelming. It's definitely not bad, it's good for what it is

Top five best sushi that I've had in Denver. And we've been to a lot of sushi restaurants. We will definitely return soon.

I ordered a spicey tuna crunch roll and it didn't come as a crunch roll..just a normal roll..was really looking forward to it.

Kenji Sushi has a creative Sushi Chef and it is the few things on the menu that is good as well as consistent. Today, I ordered a vegetable sushi roll of avocado, cucumber and mango; a miso soup and a Chicken Yaki-Soba. The Sushi was delightful and fresh. The miso soup was just right as well. However, the Yaki-Soba tasted off. I am Asian and African American, I grew up with an Asian grandmother and spent almost ten years working in a Chinese Restaurant where celebrations were held at Sushi Den. I have had my share of really great Yaki-Soba. Kenji Sushi gave me a Yaki-Soba that tasted like it was cooked in a pan that soap wasn’t washed out completely or like all the ingredients were blanched in old water for longer than they needed too until even the meat tasted like nothing. Plus, it had an after taste like bad fish but not like fish sauce. The customer service at this point degraded. The waitress checked out and just left the table instead of offering to either remake the dish or take it off the bill. A man then came to my table stating I could take the leftovers with me. I refused and told him the food tasted off. Once again, the restaurant refused to take responsibility for the quality of their food and the man began to man-splain the differences between lo mein noodles and soba noodles. Please take your business elsewhere; they are not willing to take any accountability where 90% of the restaurants in the same area would have replaced or exchanged the meal for something else. Also, take into consideration that the Yaki-Soba is probably worth $3-$5 in ingredients to prepare and is sold for $13. There is mainly onions and noodles in the Kenji Sushi dish with maybe a tablespoon of chicken; julienne style. In this economy and with so many choices nearby, customer service is important.

Do not sleep on this adorable sushi place. It has everything you are looking for in a sushi place to grab a quick bite for lunch or have a nice outing with friends. They have delicious muscles, a tasty Philly roll and edamame that is freshly steamed and salted. I have been looking for my go to sushi joint since moving to the Denver metro area and this is it. Prices are reasonable, don’t come too hungry, you might almost not eat all the food you want to eat when you see the selection!

I have literally never had such a bad experience at a restaurant. Sushi was decent, nothing impressive, but the wait staff is AWFUL. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box. Apparently, the waitress didn't hear me and gave me just a full plate of chicken teriyaki. When I told them that wasn't what I ordered, they proceeded to YELL at me about how I did order that and couldn't have ordered the bento because it's on the lunch menu. Never before have I ever gotten in an argument with wait staff, but for them to literally be yelling at me that I never ordered what I obviously know I ordered and my date heard me order but the waitress just misheard me was mind blowing. You could hear the waitress screaming about it for 5 minutes after I sent the plate back. Insanely unprofessional. Don't eat here. Maybe take out is fine but the place was completely empty, easy to see why now.

You can tell this place is trying to get by on minimum Staffing...

Which would be fine if they weren't trying to operate as a regular restaurant

I enjoyed all the appetizers, and the service was quite nice. However, the sushi was really not the best. The tempura roll we ordered was rubbery and strange. I ate it because I don't like to waste my money.
