Visiting out of town for an event and I wish I'd went someplace else. The flavors were just alright and the price for a cone was undeserving. Unless you're looking for a niche item, I'd recommend any corner store. I liked the shop layout; that was kinda it.

Made my milkshake watery and the flavor wasn't good. It was $12. Pretty disappointed in this location. I've had Kilwins before back when I was stationed in Tampa and found this one disappointing. I immediately after tasting it asked the servers if they could trade it for a different flavor but they turned me down and offered no alternatives. I didn't feel comfortable with proceeding with the request as their body language didn't assure me they had authority to help. I used to work fast food and I'm well aware all employees aren't empowered to make executive decisions involving customer satisfaction. I threw it in the trash because it wasn't worth it. I rarely throw food away. ?

Update: I filed a complaint through the Kilwin's website and the owner of the store named Andreu used my personal info as an opportunity to call my cellphone and scold me the next day. He used accusatory language and a tone for attacking my intentions. I've been respectful to him and the personnel working in the shop. Kilwins, is this the kind of people you franchise out to? I'm disappointed ? I loved this shop so much. I have filed a complaint to the franchise department; however, I don't trust this will be resolved. By the way, I called the owner after he called me. I was hoping we could come to an agreement or understand; however, his tone and blaming me prompted me to hang up. I have to defend myself and I really wanted to enjoy the Denver ASSP conference in peace. I felt very unwelcomed after this phone call.

They serve chocolate confections and a small ice cream shop. The chocolate was better than the ice cream, but they were both fine, perhaps not good enough to remember the store's name. For the ice cream only sugar cones are available, and calories are listed per scoop (around 350). I expect they do a lot of tourism business and gift boxes. I have nothing terrible to say; it's a fairly run-of-the-mill Rocky Mountain Chocolate Store kind of shop if that's your thing.

Very good ice cream. In fact, good enough for me to go back twice on a very short visit. The service was EXCELLENT. I didn't get to try the fudge, but the selection was phenomenal!

If you are having a really bad day, stop in for something refreshing. Vinny served us and other and I’m overly impressed with how Vinny handles the customers before us. His enthusiasm and positive energy and gesture towards the older customers impressed me. Refreshing, from being in a customer service industry, it’s hard to find people like Vinny. These are the rare people you hold on to. Or, I would hire him on a spot. Thanks Vinny!

I'm a bicycle taxi in Denver for 14 years. People often ask me where I can take them and their children to get ice cream. I've been coming to Kilwins since they opened and often they will make me a milkshake including two flavors just as I asked. When I asked for strawberry I also asked for chocolate and I asked for them together in a milkshake Catherine told me no and that she refused to make it. Catherine is very rude and I will be taking any and all of my passengers to Van Leewins in Larimer Square from now on. I know there are other options for ice cream in the city and we do not have to buy from Kilwins.

Nice chocolates and ice cream shop. Place is clean and the lone girl at the counter was very friendly and efficient. I only got and ice cream w/ the rolled up waffle but it was delicious. Not sure what brand of ice cream they use but wow! Also, I know the construction in the area is a pain but this shop is very easy to get to. Check it out!
