Had lunch at a downtown Denver spot. Service and drinks were great, but the food was hit or miss. Mistakenly ordered a dish that was only fat and no meat, then a small but tasty filet. The vibe was casual, which I liked, but felt the prices were too high for the experience. Spent over $100 and left feeling not quite satisfied. Decent place, but won't return due to the cost.
This locally owned upscale American restaurant is a definite go-to if you are a tourist wanting to try local food. We had the Forgeage mushroom pasta that was fresh and light with mouthing watering flavors. We also order the bison burger and we are still craving it even after our dinner. Prices are reasonable for the quality. The host as well as the sever were very accommodating and friendly during our whole stay.
