Kizaki is truly exceptional. Every course was carefully thought out, balanced, and incredibly fresh. Each dish built on the last, creating one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had this year.
The space is intimate and elegant, tucked inside Margot, and the service matches the precision of the food. The wine pairing complemented the meal beautifully.
This is Japanese dining at its finest—refined, thoughtful, and worth every penny.

Absolutely no notes on this place. It was everything I expected it to be. We couldn’t get the counter so sat in a room with a table of 4 (them and us 2) and it still was great. Our server was fantastic and told us what each course was (in more detail than the menu) and answered any questions we had. It’s pricey, but it’s fantastic.

I had the best dining experience I’ve ever had in Denver here. I had high expectations from Toshi and the team having spent many years going to their other restaurants regularly and they did not disappoint. I couldn’t have been happier with the food and experience and hospitality. We went for our anniversary and it was the perfect date night out. We got there a little early and had a drink at the bar before going in, the matchatini is a must try :) 10/10

One of the most magical restaurants in Denver. Absolute perfection across more than a dozen courses each displaying unique and wonderful aspects of classical Japanese omakase.
The owner and staff were extremely kind and attentive and made sure this was an experience we will never forget.

Best meal I’ve had in Denver. Chef Toshi and company truly have something special here. Every aspect was spectacular. From the courses to the beautiful dishes they were served on, the thoughtfulness and artistry is on full display.
Each dish was spectacular and all together made for such a beautiful and memorable meal. My favorites were the uni and seabream. Highly recommend adding on the tuna collar if available.
The drinks were amazing. The Japanese old fashioned was such a great appetizer. Sweet and subtle with a softness that prepared the palate for the coming flavors. Also, I highly recommend the sake pairing. It comes with four unique and special pours of sake that complement the flow of the menu.
In addition to the food, I’d be remiss to not mention the ambiance, the decoration, and the service. All contributed equally to such a wonderful evening. Wes was our main server and was such a wealth of knowledge and kindness. He readily was able to answer questions and recommend items on the menu. He truly added to the great experience. Everyone we interacted with were so knowledgeable and kind.
All in all, this was the best meal we’ve had in Denver and beyond. A huge thank you to Chef Toshi and everyone who contributed to such a special and memorable evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience at Kizaki. Each dish was delicious. We got lucky that even though our reservation was for the small room of 2 tables, the couple at the second table was friendly and even shared their bottle of wine. If we go back, I'd ensure it only be at the sushi bar, which appeared to be a much different and more intimate experience with the chef.

I was lucky enough to snag a reservation for opening night at Chef Kizaki's omakase. Best meal of my life, and service was impeccable. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth twice that if you love sushi? Absolutely. I could bore you to death with descriptions of my experience and of the amazing food that nearly brought me to tears, but just do yourself a favor and book a spot while it's still possible to do without 6 months advance notice.
Update: I guessed that they would get a Michelin star, and they have done so even sooner than expected. Congratulations!
Everything was great, my favorite was the fried scallop. Lots of nigiri so come hungry.

The whole experience was amazing, from booking until the send off complete with a menu signed by chef Toshi himself. Such a humble master of his craft, it was so fun to see him front and center preparing his favorite dishes in front of a lucky group of nine people. Aesthetics and design are amazing. The chef guiding everyone through the journey, down to the regional source and prep of all ingredients not just fish but rice, wasabi and tofu was great, told a story without it feeling performative or cheesy. The sake tasting also included explanations of each round and was a nice compliment to all of the dishes. It was expensive, but the value to quality and experience was worth it
