A great casual Japanese food experience. It's one of my go to places when I'm near Colorado and Evans. I make a point to stop in and grab more than one Kokoro bowls. They reheat well and are very tasty... Even the next day. Support local and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Went here a while back with my gf and it was a great experience. The food is genuinely authentic, staff were friendly and overall a great time. A great place for authentic Japanese food

Food is wonderful and worth traveling to visit. Booth seating is limited to groups of 3+. Hard to have discissions at small tables due to background sound. Nonetheless, go and enjoy!

Food is real good. I'll be coming here until they go out of business, or I die. Service is a little off, some of the time they seem pretty strange to talk to. The atmosphere is dull inside, but having Japanese cuisine always makes things better.

Simple. Drive thru Japanese food say less. Miss the broadway location . I crave the forest child soup occasionally and have to make a special trip to get it… shimp tempura udon is heavy on rotation but also love a chicken/veggie bowl and the tuna poke bowl if i want something lighter

The nice lady, that took my order was very kind.

I enjoyed the seaweed salad and karaage chicken.

I believe, I had the Kokoro bowl.

I didn’t enjoy the taste of the teriyaki sauce that was on it.

It had a very interesting after taste.

Other than that, I will come back and eat here again.

Been going here since it opened in 1986. A lot has changed with the addition of alcohol, sushi and many other offerings. A lot hasn't with super beef bowls, kara age, katsu and other simple yet perfected Japanese offerings. Still love it.
