We went in on a Wednesday for the taco / marg deal, and it ended up not being great base solely on service. We asked for queso and he said they don’t serve it, asked for a strawberry marg and the waiter just shook his head no and didn’t offer any options or suggestions, we couldn’t split the checks in a group of 6 and didn’t tell us up front that we couldn’t split checks, the seating is so squished that you are backed up against the person behind you so you’re basically trapped forever, the drinks are crazy expensive outside of that $5 deal so please don’t stay past the first sippy cup marg. We also were not told upfront that we had a time limit and we were notified that we were on “last call” an hour after we were sat. Basically we were disappointed and there’s way better places for a fun happy hour vibe.

It's a busy place and though and hour and a half is adequate, they limit guests to time. The food was good not great and that may just be because I had higher expectations.

Arrived around 6:30pm. The place was very busy but they were able to seat us right away. Our server was great. I really enjoyed the chorizo tacos. The esquites with bone marrow were good, but a bit small to share with more then two people. The duck mole taco was tasty. The guacamole was outstanding. We had the verde chicken pozole, lots of ingredients in it but lack seasoning and flavor. Our friends had the mole pork pozole. Felt same way, lacked flavor and depth. Was really looking forward to coming here due to its accolades. Oh well!

We didn't catch that it was just Brunch on Friday afternoon so started out a bit disappointed, but it all worked out great and loved the food. Service was quick and attentive. Will be back for dinner.

Waited way too long to be served, however, we were seated quickly. It took about 20 minutes to get our drinks and about another 20 to get our food. The tacos are good. I wouldn't say they were great. Pretty small for the price tag. I'd recommend going to Sonnys Tacos just around the corner if you're in the mood for good tacos and quick service. This place mightve been having a bad night but all in all, I don't recommend it.

I order 2 pozoles one white, not good at all, one green I don't try my partner he say was k but he is american and I order 3 tacos al pastor, cochinita pibill, and campechano i think tacos was ok exept because we don't get any salsas for tacos, I'm from Mexico and one of tha food I love is pozole, and I don't like this one because they don't remove the skins from tha corn and didn't have enough flavor.and no salsas for pozole, and I fell like it is to expensive.

Food quality: 10/10, some of the best tacos I've ever had. Truly delicious. My friends got the pozole and found it unexceptionable, didn't seem as good as the tacos.Food quantity: We got the happy hour street tacos, which were quite small. Three tacos were not enough for anybody. Our party got multiple appetizers and additional dishes, which very qucikly added up, and yet my husband walked away hungry. Absolutely not worth it.Service: Bad. Slow, unresponsive, confused. I guess we should be grateful they weren't outright rude to us.Atmosphere: Extremely dark. Loud and noisy. Terrible place to catch up with friends, unless you have nothing to say to each other.I can get tacos that taste this good or almost this good with excellent service, good atmosphere, portion sizes that are filling, reasonable prices and all within walking distance of my house. Never coming back here, regret bringing my out of town friends here.Parking: There are two overpriced lots next to the restaurant. Good luck finding street parking, or take out a second mortgage on your house.

Highly rated authentic Mexico City fare located near 22nd and Larimer. All of the dishes are high quality and ring true to the outstanding cuisine of Mexico City. The pozole is delicious and is not a dish that you find served very often here. The taco dishes, salsas and moles are flavorful and delicious. Drinks are great particularly the mezcal house margarita. Small hip place with a cool city vibe…. Come early if you are looking to avoid a wait outside!

Had brunch here. The Posole and Chilaquilas were just almost okay. Can’t recommend. A pity as we had really been looking forward to trying the food.
