There used to be a unique and one-of-a-kind restaurant/café at this location called The Market. The Market was a landmark in downtown Denver and, living a block away, we went there at least once a week. The Market was always busy and a hangout for the neighborhood. Also, a good place to meet other people. The food besides being reasonable, was made onsite and delicious.Unfortunately, due to Covid The Market closed last year, and in its place they put a totally irrelevant Record Café. This place looks sad and hardly anyone ever goes there. The emphasis is on drinks and downtown has many nicer places for that. Besides who needs another bar in downtown? It is a shame that the Larimer Sq. management settled for this totally sad place. What we need is another Market where we can have a drink and excellent meal, especially now that the Larimer Square is closed to traffic.PLEASE, Please bring The Market back!
Sian and Adrian make this place, when the staff is having fun so are the guests and it’s infectious. Not too soon for a COVId joke! HA!! MFs
Love this place! Such a great concept and very cool and friendly staff, don’t know what to say about complaints (people have bad days I guess) but I’ve been here several times and the service is always great. Bartenders are friendly and definitely mix an excellent drink!
Giving this place 2 stars because it is a great concept. What was not great was how rude the woman running the cafe is. There is a leaking pipe hanging from the ceiling that dropped on my girlfriend a few times. I politely told her that water was dripping from their pipe and pointed to it . Her response was "I don't know what to tell you , move" They also have a Beastie Boys tour shirt for $200 and I was told "that shirt is probably 10 years old , no one knows who they are anymore" Definitely not a good experience and terrible customer service . The coffee and Charcuterie are good though!
Great nostalgic place! Great drink choices
Very nice staff
Ok this place has it all! Records, plants, coffee, beer, wine I’m sure I’m missing something. But to fully expert this place … if you are young or young at heart go on Sunday Funday night! Painting, dancing, a popular DJ spinning records. There was even chair message available!
Great place combination record/ music good/ art/ plant store x a coffee shop with many different varieties x a bar with great sound system all in the heart of Larimer square. Definitely a top spot for the Sunday music crowd.
Cool little spot to grab a drink and shop for records. Has the feel of a little coffee shop/ small bar with a record store. Great little spot to stop for a drink and look around. Highly recommend a stop in this little shop!
Just saw my second show there. Super friendly staff, especially Dolla at the door and working bar support. All the bartenders are extra friendly, and tonight a special mention to Angel, and the awesome Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita she made me. I left the show so happy that I double checked my schedule, and bought a ticket for next Sunday.
