We (a party of 5) came in on a Saturday night. We ordered and sat down. It took 30 minutes to get terrible food. The pasta was overcooked, and cold. The pasta sauce tasted like it came out of a can with no flavor. I got 2 canolis that were obviously microwaved as they were tough but cold. No one in our party took more than a bite of their food. Lechuga's Italian Restaurant is a beloved eatery that has been pleasing palates for years. The menu features popular dishes like the spaghetti bucket with meatballs and sausage, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with mint green walls, stained glass light covers, and wooden floors, creating a welcoming environment. Customers order at the counter, and if they need more time, they can sit at wooden tables with metal chairs and view the menu before ordering. The self-serve soda and water in paper cups, wrapped silverware, and the ability to bus your own table add to the casual vibe. Favorites like the little devils—sausage cannolis wrapped in a bun with a hot chili pepper—are highly recommended, often enjoyed with marinara to cool down the heat. The ice tea is strong, and the food is consistently good, with friendly service and ample parking. While the dining room is modest and some aspects could use some TLC, Lechuga's remains a reliable spot for a satisfying Italian meal. The restaurant no longer owns the bar, which is a minor disappointment, but the quality of food keeps customers coming back.
