It's been a while since my last visit to US, and man have prices soared! Accordingly, LL having premium products within groceries were very expensive. The coffee selection is outstanding for a European to try, the produce really good; we got tomatoes, onions and Avocado. Bananas, also fine, and the meat was good looking and more expensive than Denmark(!!!), and so was the exquisite selection of cheese. We got some Italian inspired Cotto sausage and uncured bacon and it was delicious. The bread was not up to standard (and that is European standard, so to be expected) although edible when toasted! Included was a beer and sandwich bar, and also something upstairs (Sushi?), and the atmosphere really great. Staff super helpful and friendly and so, if you're in the 'hood: checking it out is a must!

It’s just the best grocery store. As the name implies definitely heavy on local produce and products. Huge community vibes. Staff are always friendly and the to go meals are insane.

This is one of the ansolute BEST local grocery stores. Supporting Local Farms and Vegan/ Vegitarian/ Gluten Free Options all of the food here is Higher quality than both Whole Foods or Natural Grocers in my opinion.

Just sat at the bar for a beer and was ignored? I frequently go to Locavore for a beer and have never been ignored. I waited for five of so minutes and wasn’t even greeted. I eventually just got up when the bartender helped a new guest before even talking to me. Very, very confused.

Super unfortunate experience this weekend- my boyfriend and I went to grab seltzers and swing by our favorite butcher shop and were turned away because of our medical service dog. Even though they have a sign that allows service animals, the woman at the entrance who greeted us let us know that we could NOT have our service dog with us. She further went on to imply it was an emotional support animal, even after we expressed that it’s a medically trained dog for health services. Super disappointed, and expected a lot more from one of our previously favorite local spots.

My New Favorite Grocery Store!

Leevers Locavore is hands down the best grocery store I’ve been to!

They have a fantastic selection of organic produce and go out of their way to highlight local products, which I really appreciate.

It’s clear they’re all about supporting the community, and the quality of everything they stock is top-notch.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better.

But what truly sets this place apart is the fact that they have a coffee shop, bar, and pizza right inside the store!

It’s the first grocery store I’ve ever been to where you can grab a slice of pizza and a beer while doing your shopping—how cool is that?

If you’re in Denver and care about local, organic produce with a side of pizza and a pint, this place is a must-visit.

Leevers Locavore has definitely become my go-to spot for groceries whilst I am visiting the LoHi area of Denver

So happy this is my local grocer. It has everything you need for basic grocery shopping and so much more. They do a great job of stocking unique and local food and beverages and also they work hard to be a hub for the neighborhood having events and places to hang out. There is a coffee counter, pizza joint, sushi and alcohol with plenty of seating. Highly recommend.

Unless I'm going for one of the little stands in there providing ready to eat food, I'd avoid. The prices are double a regular grocery store and triple that of getting things from your local farmers market. Selection is pretty limited too

Awful experience. Went to Oscars in the store for a sandwich and was treated like a complete idiot and nuisance for not realizing the lunch menu stopped at 4. It wasn’t that the menu had changed. It’s that I was a problem for ordering food. How dare a customer do this?? Sorry for the inconvenience for attempting to purchase an item at your store! I’ll save you the nuisance next time and not return!
