Anyone who has been to Paris would know this is the most authentic French bakery in Denver. Idk if people are upset they found the owner to be too authentic or not but I appreciate them. 10/10 will be back

Stopped by while I was picking up a luggage repair from work shop next-door. The best eclair I’ve had in years. Very nice young man on the counter. Everything looks delicious. I will be back.

Don’t even bother… UPDATE: correct bakery- I’d put negative stars for service if I could. You know who you are and how you fail.
Review below stands:
I stopped in to check out this local bakery. We said “Hi,”nothing. Asked “is this authentic French,”nothing. After looking at something akin to a quiche, “what do we have here,”nothing…then finally a reply, “apple.” We noticed a pink pastry topper to which the woman said, “is ok, just candies, it’s ok.” The entire bakery smelled of chemicals and with the lack of service we decided not to buy. Probably a front, they’re not making any money on pastries.
Do yourself a favor, get an Entenmann’s.

Why anyone would patronize this business when the owner is so nasty and rude is beyond me. There are several comments here about how rude she is and there isn’t a pastry in the world that’s worth being subjected to such behavior. My friends and our 3 children came in and practically before we got through the door, she yelled at the kids not to touch the glass. After we ordered and sat down, she pretended that she was closing the store even though the store hours had it open for another 3 hours. So she kicked us out. We sat at the table outside and she came out and yelled at us to the point of all 3 children crying. The kids were doing nothing but eating a cookie. What a miserable human.

Love the pastries there! Never been disapointed! The owner is very sweet!
I was so surprised to see bad reviews… but i’m french so what americans might consider rude is just normal to me 😂 don’t go ton a french owned bakery if you don’t want the whole french experience lol
10/10 always happy to come back and chat with the owner :)

Quintessential 100% rude French people run this place. I’m sorry but a heaping dose of frowns and rudeness is simply not worth stepping into this place. Been here twice and the same terrible experience each time.

To the Owner: We’ve been customers since this shop opened. We’ve enjoyed many different items from the glass pastry cases. We have supported this business with our numerous purchases over time. However, the rude, mean, hateful behavior of the owner is just too much. Too many times we’ve seen her mistreat customers. In the past we have dismissed her extremely rude behavior. I’m sorry to say the line has been crossed. We will never come back.

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – One Star Is Absolutely Disgusting Experience – One Star Is Too Generous

I visited this bakery today, and it was without a doubt one of the most unpleasant and disrespectful experiences I’ve ever had as a customer. The moment I walked in, I was greeted—not with a smile or a simple hello—but with a look of disgust and contempt from an elderly woman working there. Her facial expression was cold, hostile, and completely inappropriate for someone working in customer service.

I politely asked if they had Napoleon, and her response was shockingly rude and aggressive: “No.” No explanation, no courtesy, just raw hostility. I then asked for the price of the éclair, and again, she snapped back at me in the most unprofessional and condescending tone: “The prices are on the wall.”

Despite this outrageous behavior, I went ahead and bought two éclairs. When I asked for a receipt, she flat-out refused and said rudely, “There’s no receipt. It’s $12.”
Excuse me? I have every right to receive a receipt, even if the amount was just one dollar. This kind of dismissive, arrogant attitude is completely unacceptable.

How someone like this is allowed to run or even work at a place that depends on customer interaction is beyond me. Her behavior was disgusting, disrespectful, and absolutely disgraceful. I had intended to become a regular customer and even planned to bring friends who love French pastries.
But after this? Absolutely not. I will make it a point to warn everyone I know to stay away from this place so they don’t have to experience the same rudeness and humiliation I did.

Shameful service. Unworthy of even the smallest amount of customer loyalty.

I’ve always been a great admirer of French pastries, largely due to the many years I spent living in Europe. So when I discovered this bakery specializing in authentic French pastries, I visited it full of excitement and nostalgia. I had every intention of becoming a regular customer. However, the poor treatment I received from the elderly lady working there—who clearly has a problem with people of color—left me shocked and deeply disappointed. Because of this experience, I’m certain I won’t be returning to this bakery again.

Popped over while waiting for an oil change, and was absolutely delighted by the owners, quality of food & authenticity. As someone who has spent a fair amount of time in France, this was a wonderful addition to my day. Can’t wait to come back & try more goodies!
